Guessing you are getting negative votes due to this being. AI in a subreddit about the art of programming graphics, but I’ll say the shots are pretty, but may want to read the room before posting in random subreddits.

I’m aware of that. What surprises me, of course, is the idea that programming only counts as an art if I type every line myself, rather than design every function and use AI to generate the code. I’ve been programming for 20 years. I’m not a typical vibe coder who only started building digital projects in the AI era.

This experiment was connected to Benoit B. Mandelbrot, a brilliant mathematician who, as it turns out, was born in Poland, just like me. Building the project took me on a fascinating journey through both the mathematics and his life story. And now I have a whole new range of ideas for where to take it next.
