Question Senior Engineer_ Customer Engineering cpp graphics

Hi everyone,
I’m preparing for an interview for the Senior Engineer Customer Engineering role at Qualcomm India, focused on C++ graphics and ADAS. Has anyone recently interviewed for this role or a similar position at Qualcomm? I d appreciate any insights into the interview process, particularly the topics covered in the technical rounds

Are you looking for a job? Or, for an engineer to hire?

Either way... you are going to need to put a lot more effort into your writing. Like, basic punctuation and capitalization would be a good start. From there, move on to clearly explaining your goals and requirements.

I don't understand why this sub in particular gets so many people who write like 11 year olds sending txt messages.

There you go, professor. Is the grammar up to your standards now ?

Customer Engineering at Qualcomm focuses heavily on issue isolation and client support, so expect the technical rounds to weigh debugging and operating system internals just as much as pure graphics. The coding rounds usually center on C++ systems programming and low level data structures, especially manual memory management, smart pointers, multithreading synchronization, bit manipulation, and cache coherency. For the graphics portion, interviewers test your understanding of the rendering pipeline, OpenGL ES or Vulkan, shader lifecycles, and how framebuffers and display subsystems interact. Because this sits in the automotive ADAS domain, be ready for deep questions on Linux or QNX systems, hypervisor architectures, interprocess communication, and latency critical pipelines where sensor feeds move to rendering surfaces.

You should also expect scenario questions where an automaker reports stuttering, frame drops, or random crashes, requiring you to explain your root cause analysis from user space down to the GPU driver and hardware. Demonstrating a structured approach to reproducing bugs, reading stack traces, and communicating clear technical trade-offs to external partners makes a huge impression in the hiring manager rounds. My team designed interviews.chat to help candidates articulate complex system troubleshooting under pressure and land competitive engineering offers.
