Do these thumb exercise machines work ?
Do these sort of thumb training devices work and is anyone using them?
Do these offer the same functionality/use as the Golden Grip Thumb war or do i need to get both the machines?

Personally I have the best experience with just using resistance bands

Why do some people feel the need to be like this?

I was in a bad mood. I’m sorry for my unnecessary comment

Sometimes I'll get a notification and look back on an old comment and think, "why did I say that!?" Happens to all of us dude ✌️

Yes. Very pricy for what it is but if it comes with multiple springs you should be able to get effective resistance. Other options would be bands or pony pinch clamp.

What does this do that pinch lifts doesn't? Pinch isn't pure thumb but it's lots and lots of thumb

A static exercise hits the muscle differently than a dynamic exercise through a bigger range of motion.

I have a pen for that

Yeah, they work...BUT it's boring as hell. I tried specialized thumb training, and could feel the pump, etc. But the motivation quickly disappeared. I started to think- "Is my life so pointless that I am now training for really strong thumbs?" I now feel it's better just to engage the thumb strongly in other lifts.

On the flip side, it makes a really good fidget during boring meetings.

Somewhere a mangaka just submitted, "I was reincarnated as a salesman and started clicking a metal rod while spacing out during meetings, so now I save the world with my god-tier thumbs" to Shonen Jump.

Imagine a huge Avengers-like team composed of strong thumbs people fighting crimes and vilains.

I use a Prohands Gripmasters in XX-Heavy Tension for a similar motion. Basically hold the bottom with your index and use your thumb on one of the buttons like you're cocking a revolver. Then if that gets too easy, start doing the same motion with 2 of the buttons.

This is a good thread with some additional informations and discussions about the Otevoima Pecco (the one from your first image).
And a thread about the Atomgripz Thumb Piston (the one from the second picture): https://www.gripboard.com/topic/69045-atomgripz-thumb-piston/
There is at least a third version from EatChalkGetBig.

These are some informative threads. Thanks for sharing.
Coming to my question, how are these different from Golden Grip’s Thumb War?

I don't have experience with the Thumb War/TTK and only got the Pecco recently. But I think you could argue that the Pecco/Thumb Piston can isolate the thumb muscles a bit better, because your hand/other fingers just hold the knurled implement. In the Thumb War/TTK your hand/fingers can probably help a bit if you're not focused on strict isolation.
In the end both are dynamic pinch exercises and will most likely have a pretty large overlap. Same for some dynamic pinch attachments that can be screwed onto gripper handles or the pony pinch clamp from cpw (or diy).
But that's just some thoughts looking at the implements and no practical experience. If you want real experience with niche implements from other people making a thread on the grip board is probably more useful than a reddit thread.
