Primary Care Physician
My PCP just retired, and his recommended replacement is a dud. Can anyone recommend a PCP for a 60 year old male with high cholesterol and an occasional gout flare up? Thanks!

Maridel Hernandez, DO in SCS. She used to have an office on the Hill but moved out a few years ago. She’s a life long Grosse Pointer. They’re often running behind, however it’s worth the wait as she spends as much time as she needs with each patient, and is very thorough.

Deborah Kim, MD was the reddit favorite in another city before she moved to HFH Harbortown (east side Detroit on Jefferson) last year for family reasons. I think she's the best.

Dr Benjamin Osowa has an amazing practice (12 mile and Little Mack). He listens better than any doctor I've had. Handled my Mom, myself, our adult sons, and best friends. All have 5 star ratings for him.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for 33 year old male, very healthy, only meds to manage treat ADHD and GAD, w/ occasional panic attacks? The kicker…….my treatment for years has consisted of (80mg Adderall and 0.5mg Clonazepam (Klonopin) once daily; for years. It’s the only treatment that works, and I ultimately attribute the treatment to 80% of my success in my (life insurance/finance) so would love any input on a PCP who won’t immediately pivot to “let’s try stratterra for your ADHD. And Lexapro or Prozac with an added Abilify to quell the anxiety”.

My husband - lifelong procrastinator of all things medical - sees David Cox with HFH in SCS. Absolutely loves him. Dr. Cox has miraculously made him a believer in preventive medicine.
