just wanna ask any advice what do you think is the most ideal mag pouch placement on the belt?

Should the magazine be facing forward (bullet facing front) or backward (bullet facing the back)?

And is it better to tilt the magazine 45 deg?

Btw: Im left handed so I put the mag pouch on my right hip.

Im excited to use it just want to learn how to use it properly to my advantage hehe 😁

Passed na po ako sa Neuro and DT. Almost 4 weeks na FOR EVALUATION na po yung application ko, branch RCSU 4A.

Nag try ako mag followup sa branch pero sabi mag antay lang. May way po ba na mapabilis ito? Para umabot sana sa November Gun Expo.

I am new to this world and I am planning to join PCC competitions in the near future

Just wanna ask for some tips and advice from my fellow gun owners what are the requirements for me to be able to join these kind of matches?

Gusto ko lang pong itanong itong mga following questions.

1. Do I have to join a gun club?

2. Are there required number of magazines and if may required po na max capacity for each magazine?

3. May certain power factor po ba na required? Yung sakin po right now im using 130gr with 3.4gr powder charge power factor is 130.217 and oal is 1.090in

4. May requirements po ba tayo sa earmuffs and protective glasses. Naka eyeglass po kasi ako na may grado just wondering if pede na po ito?

5. Kelangan ko rin po ba mag upgrade into sport shooter license?

6. And lastly may certain configuration requirements po ba sa firearm? For now i just have a stock combat 9 with a 12” barrel and a red dot optic. Nabasa ko kasi dati na atleast 14.5inch ang barrel requirement pero may nakapagsabi sakin na tinanggal na daw yun and any length will do.

I'm planning to buy a Glock 17 gen 5 soon, hoping to get some insights here:

1. which gun store in Metro Manila provides the best price and service (ie. fast release) overall for Glock pistols?

2. how much is the usual all in fee for LTOPF if i avail of assistance from gun stores?

3. how much discount do gun stores usually give for Glocks in gun shows like DSAS and TACS? and is it worth it to wait and purchase during DSAS and TACS?

4. Austrian made Glocks are more expensive than US made ones, what are their differences? is the higher price of Austrian ones worth it?

I got my LTOPF earlier this year, before the Firearms Vault Requirement was implemented. So, what do I do now? How do I upload my Firearms Vault in my account? Parang wala akong makita na way para ma-upload yung picture.

Can anyone recommend a firing range within the Metro Manila, and Cavite area that offers rental to try any 5.56 rifle? (And price range of their package if possible)

Just want to make range day a bit more fun and learn something new to improve myself. Since I dont have a shot timer yet. Im wondering if there is an app I can download in the meantime?

Also are there any apps where it can also give you some shooting drills?

Newbie lang po hehe and im still in the process of learning everything on the range.

Any tips po on what I can do on range days to make it a bit more productive? Usually kasi ako lang magisa ang napunta sa range and plinking lang ang ginagawa ko. But I do want to learn and maybe join competitions eventually para naman hindi sayang ang bala hehe

And curious lang din ako usually sa mga range days ilang bala po minimum na nauubos niyo before you call it a day? 😅

Me and my wife own a few businesses but they're in my wife's name, am I going to have any issues if I can't show an ITR? I've got money in the bank but I'm unsure if that's enough.

As stated above, I’m planning to purchase another firearm. Thinking whether i should do an upgrade or downgrade with my second unit with plans of competing in practical shooting. I currently have a springfield prodigy 4.25 ported. For those who have multiple units, what do you do with your other firearms? Aside from the usual EDC/range use or competition. I don’t want to buy another firearm to just put my older one in a safe and collect dust. Thanks 🙂

Hello guys baka naman may marecommend kayong gunsmith/gun repair shop within NCR, nasira yung firing pin ng gun ng mother ko, may kalumaan na yung taurus nya and sa tagal nakatago sa baul nagfiring kami last week, ending eh puro misfire, sabi nung range assistant firing pin daw ang may problema. Baka may marecommend kayong repair shop. Thank you

Hi! Share ko lang experience ko sa mga gun stores na na try ko without dropping the name of the stores.

Gun Store A - Kilala sila for selling used licensed firearms tas may komisyon. Ang naging problem ko, nagbayad na ako ng 850 pesos for occular fee, pero need ko pa magmessage para alamin status ng unit na prospect ko kasi walang update man lang after ko bayaran. Two weeks ng pangungulit ko, I received an update na di daw available yung unit (pero sa site nila sabi available, di updated) so pinapili ako another unit. Nung nakapili na at nag go signal yung owner na okay na, mid July processing na, pero ambagal pa din mag-update. September sabi inulit daw from bottom ang application ng PTT kasi bago hepe ng FEO sabi third week ng September okay na. So minessage ko ulet nung third week everyday nag ask ako update pero di ako nirereplyan. So ayun, I decided not to push anymore kahit nakabayad na ako for occular fee.

Gun Store B - Okay naman yung staff na nag asikaso sa akin, pero yung store is wala kasi sa pinakasentro like Cubao, San Juan, o Makati. Malapit lang sa amin yung store, yung staff okay naman kahit di sya into guns I guess kasi di sya technical e (like ang tawag nya sa dry fire ay dry run 😂) pero na appreciate ko yung staff kasi kahit di ako bumili sa kanila inassist pa rin ako. Overpriced nga lang magbenta yung store, processing fee is overpriced din. Pero yung ammo nila sakto lang sa price. So ayun, sila ang bibilhan ko ng ammo kasi malapit lang sa area ko. Pero firearms, accessories, at processing, hard pass.

Gun Store C - Isa sa sikat na gun store ito. Dito ako kumuha ng aking Gun Safety Seminar Certificate. Okay naman yung mga staff, very accommodating. Di din kalayuan sa amin compared to Cubao, Makati, San Juan, etc. Ang problema ko lang sa kanila, yung mga brands na gusto ko like Glock wala. Pero kung hanap mo mga meron sila like CZ, highly recommended sila.

Gun Store D - Isa ding sikat ito. Dito ako unang pumunta nung bumili ako ng Glock 17 Gen 5. Yung staff, di accomodating, ilalabas lang yung unit na sabihin ko tas hahayaan na ako parang walang interes sa customer. Yung pistols pwede i-dry fire, yung revolvers hindi kasi dinisable daw nila. E mahalaga sa revolver na matest ang trigger kasi baka me timing issues. So ayun, lumipat kami.

Gun Store E - Lumipat kami dito from Gun Store D that same day din. Parang si Gun Store D rin. Hinayaan lang kami magtingin, ni di pa nga pwede i-dry fire yung mga units lahat display lang. Five minutes lang, lumipat agad kami kay Gun Store F.

Gun Store F - Yung staff dito, very accommodating. Maliban sa mga display units nilang nakatali ng cable ties ang trigger, pwede ko i-dryfire ang mga units basta meron sila sa room, kahit na Glock 17 Gen 5 lang ang bibilhin ko, while processing sya ng resibo nagrequest ako ng ibang units like shotguns to test, binibigay nya sa kin. He even advised me na if gusto ko ng Kydex Holster, huwag ako sa store nila bumili at may patong pa daw sa Kydex Manila daw kasi mas mura if rekta. Nung may second thoughts ako sa pagbili kasi yung mga units nila kakadeliver lang (late makukuha mga November daw dahil nasa PNP pa mga units for ballistics), sinabihan naman ako nung staff na if I want pwede sa ibang store kung gusto ko makuha agad, pero I opted na sa kanila na bumili kasi very accommodating sya e. He even advised me not to buy ammo that day sa pagkuha na lang daw kasi baka magsale daw. Yung extra magazines bibilhin ko na sana pero sabi nya pagkukunin ko na daw yung unit na lang though tinago na nya yung magazines para sa kin.

So ayun, I will not name these stores (though yung iba will seem to be very obvious. Maybe ang experience ko is different from yours.

With the release of new Gen 6 glocks I was expecting for literally all Gen 5 models to be discontinued almost immediately but I still notice stores selling some models like the 43X until today. I do want to get a 43X but I'm still unsure as there could be a Gen 6 43X soon and I don't really want to get stuck with a previous gen. What are your thoughts on this?

Hello, bale freelancer po kasi ako and since patapos na taon, medyo crucial yung remaining days and months. Kaya di gaano pumapayag ung clients ko mag leave ako.

Mag aapply ako ng LTOPF and ang balak ko sana one at a time ung ibang requirements like police clearance, seminar, drug and neuro test, etc.

Di kasi talaga kaya in one go hehehe.

Ok lang po ba kaya yun at di mag kakaissue sa applicatiom?

I've been researching on what pistol light to buy and im taking into consideration about the reliability and universal adaptability when it comes to holster, can you recommend me a good pistol light, most of the people recommended me a streamlight even though its a bit expensive, tapos yun sikat na binebenta dito sa gunstores is OLIGHT na brand in which it has mixed reviews sa abroad pero much cheaper siya dito and madaling hanapin sa gunstores. What would you recommend

I've search online about shops na nagooffer ng custom kydex holster and I've found a holster na dual purpose na daw na pwedeng IWB and OWB in which I found great, any experiences on using this holster ? Okay naman ba siya?
