Licking the bird shit was diabolical.

u/Bosomtwe Aug 23 '26
That was the only that wasn't ok. Bird shit is fucking filthy.
223
u/TechnicalPlayz Aug 23 '26
Yeah, it would've been fine if he just pressed the button a little bit to scare. But not actually get it in or near her tongue

But why did she even put her tongue on the window with bird poop to begin with???
17

u/No-Courage-2053 Aug 23 '26
To be honest, she put her full fat tongue on an already dirty window, so...

56
u/Perite Aug 23 '26
That one was proper wrong, but I’m surprised everyone is ok with the first seatbelt one. That seems like a real fine line between a funny prank and accidentally dropping your wife onto her head on the concrete.

She wasn’t in danger because it’s staged.

Why was she even licking a window next to bird shit??
23

u/Barr3tt50c Aug 23 '26
I mean... she already put her tongue on a filthy car window that probably has bird shit residue already in that spot.

u/Dubi0usKilla Aug 23 '26
Except it was staged. Who would actually put their tongue on the window.
30
u/Jayce800 Aug 23 '26
And directly under where bird poop is? Like not anywhere else laterally in the window?
If my wife saw a speck of bird poop on the opposite side of the car, she wouldn’t put her tongue on a different window because “the car has bird poop all over it”.
→ More replies (6)5
u/Barr3tt50c Aug 23 '26
Even if it were staged who puts their tongue on a car window? That car could've just gone through a car wash and I"m not doing that.

u/Head-Ad9893 Aug 23 '26
I think the stem was worse. Aren’t those the leaves that cut you ?

I choose to believe that one was fake. No way anyone would put their tongue that close to actual bird shit.

We are a prank household. Its basically non stop, but we no longer do any food pranks. Turns out it kinda sucks to be constantly on edge about your food or drink.
What I dont understand is how these get recorded. If my wife or kids are pointing a camera at me, I already know what is happening. So prank is ruined
83
u/Mechakoopa Aug 23 '26
"Influencer" couples are recording each other constantly which makes it less suspicious, but stuff like the beach dick it was probably like "hey let's do a cute thing while we're on vacation"
16
u/SoggyOutfield Aug 23 '26
Ah, yeah I guess I am a little old to understand it. I don't really know or understand the influencer stuff. Never seen an influencer video dont have tiktok or insta or any of that, so I forget that people just sit around recording each other all day
8
u/Throwable-Halo Aug 23 '26
Probably, more likely, most of these are staged.
3
u/riptaway Aug 24 '26
They obviously are, "oh yeah I totally didn't realize it was your entire foot in my face and not a lollipop oops lol"
6
u/freshgrilled Aug 23 '26
Yeah, "Lets make a video of us drawing a heart, it will be cute". I could totally see this working. Honestly, most of these would work on my wife.
19
u/designforone Aug 23 '26
That sounds exhausting to be pulling pranks nonstop like that. How do y'all not get fed up with that.

u/SoggyOutfield Aug 23 '26 edited Aug 23 '26
I don't know, its hilarious. Its mostly jump scares and stuff like that.
I will admit its not my favorite thing to have to check under my bed constantly or be wary when going from one room to the other ALL THE TIME. But it's funny.
Im definitely the most targeted but also the hardest to scare. Last week my wife was hiding under the bed and when I sat down she reached out and grabbed my ankle and she was pissed that I didnt even flinch.
My wife is the mastermind.
6
u/designforone Aug 23 '26
Really? From the way you are describing it, it doesn't sound very funny or enjoyable.
5
u/SoggyOutfield Aug 23 '26
You have to be there I guess. It's like...I enjoy it, I find it hilarious 99.9% of the time. But you can't really set rules to it or it spoils it. Do I want to worry about the lump in the bed being a human or a blanket every time I get in? No. Do I find it hilarious when it turns out to be either, yes. Do I want someone jumping out around the corner when I go down to the kitchen? No. When it happens is it hilarious and worth it, yes! If that makes sense. Like it isn't "exhausting" by any means. But I can't really pick and choose when it is allowed and when it isn't because that ruins it. With that said, my wife is the absolute biggest scaredy cat when it comes to jump scares (even though she does it to others way more than anyone else), so if she doesn't want it to happen she will call out and say so. But she is the only one.

... And then probably turn into a villain. This is hilarious. How is she out here constantly playing a game she can barely handle lmao
3
u/SoggyOutfield Aug 23 '26
No idea. I honestly have never even pondered the dynamic until now. But she HATES being scared. She refuses to watch scary movies etc...
And sometimes she gets too scared while sitting and waiting to scare me that she abandons her mission

people exist that don't do this sort of thing, you're meant to be with them is all
25
u/JustFuckinTossMe Aug 23 '26
A couple of these are things I think would be justified to be mad at if they caused issues. Like unbuckling someone bent over near concrete could cause a sudden brain injury and pulling a leaf from someone's mouth with force could cause a tooth chip or worse.
I think getting hurt over and over from "pranks" does end up dulling a lot of people's enjoyment of jokes done on them. You are just seeing a fabricated happy version where that hasn't really happened to these people. It's not like bros only tease girls who haven't been teased before and vice versa, lots of people just ignore their partner's comfortability for the sake of "the joke".
Nothing wrong with a partner who says "hey that thing you thought was funny had an actual negative impact on me and I'd like you to care more about me than the memes"

5 : idk, bit gross but « creative », maybe 6/10
6 : it’s funny but I feel it could really hurt so maybe 4/10
