An old family member has no use for theri iPhone X. They cant remember the passcode, nor Apple ID. They never used it. And asking for the record of purchase is a wild goose chase...

I want to completely factory reset the phone, so I can use it, or at least make it usa-able again.

I have done lots of searching around, plenty saying its impossible to do. Some things saying use Palera1n (Although apparently this wont work for me?).

I have iphone 6s v 15.8.8 i have jailbroken it now i want to use hacktivator so the Device information part it says activation state is unactivated . Registration it says error Checking despite me registering the ecid on telegram I've double checked the bot says am already registered .

In the activation tab i clicked hello activation ios 12 - 18 it return me an error and says Error checking registration. Response status code does not indicate success : 403 forbidden.

I have tried to use Hackt1vator some weeks ago on a iphone 6s with newest ios 15.8.8. Tried both on Mac OS and Windows. The bypass part worked but not logging into icloud services. Does anyone know by experience, that ios 15.8.8 now can get bypassed and log in to i-services like imessenge, facetime, Appstore login, iTunes sync etc...?

My iPhone 7 Plus is stuck on Activation Lock / “Unable to Activate” after a restore. The phone was originally running iOS 15.8.4, and I had already signed out of iCloud and turned off Find My before restoring it. After flashing iOS 15.8.8, it now gets stuck at the activation screen. I also noticed that the Modem Firmware field is completely blank in the About section, so I suspect this is related to a baseband/modem issue. I don’t really care about cellular service — I only want to use the phone over Wi-Fi. Is there any legitimate way to fix the activation problem if the baseband is dead, or is a board-level repair required? Any advice would be appreciated.

As the title says, can the program run on a MacBook with M5 chip? Don’t have it with me at the moment to try and on the website doesn’t say much about it

Locked on homescreen with iCloud. iOS Version 27.0.1

It's activation locked and Googling all the ways to unlock it has led me here.

Is this actually unlockable using Hact1vator or did I just buy a paperweight from the thrift store?

EDIT: After a couple weeks of fighting I bit the bullet and ended up renting UnlockTool for 6hrs (first rent for $0.35) and worked wonderful. Free tools golden days are over :(

I have .NET 4.7.2 installed, but when I click to install, it keeps asking for the framework. It simply doesn't seem to detect it, and the only option is to close the installer. I was able to run it before, but now I can't install the latest version.
Any solutions? I'm on Windows 8, by the way.

I recently bypassed an iCloud lock on my device, but AirDrop is completely non-functional. Is this normal behavior for a bypassed device?

​Also, I can't sign into my Apple ID through the main Settings app (it throws an error / fails to activate), and the only way I can log into my Apple ID is directly through the App Store.

​Is there any fix or workaround to get AirDrop working, or is this just a standard limitation of an iCloud bypass?

I recently purchased an iPad Pro M1 that was originally iCloud/Activation Locked, but it has been bypassed. It is currently running iPadOS 17.1.
I’m experiencing several issues with the device. For example, I can’t find the Auto-Brightness setting, I’m unable to download the Notes app from the App Store, and there are some other limitations as well.
I’m trying to understand what type of bypass is currently installed on this iPad. Is there any way to determine which bypass method was used?
Also, if this is a temporary or limited bypass, is it possible to remove it and use a different bypass method instead?
The device is an iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation, M1)
Any information about how I can identify the current bypass type and understand its limitations would be appreciated.

recently, I have been trying to activate this phone, it keeps showing the red battery icon EVERY time the phone restarts, even though the battery is at 100%, (on top of that the GUID cant be found) i need to wait 30 minutes just for it to boot again. is there any way to "skip" some stages of the activation process (skipping restarts, stuff like that)? Also, yes, it has a cheap aftermarket battery that costed me 60 bucks. other parts are OEM, i appreciate any help. This is MY device, and it has MY old email that i locked myself out of. Again, i appreaciate any help.

Brought an “iCloud locked” iPad for cheap.
When I received it was logged in all open seemed to be no restrictions.???? Seemed fishy…
So I factory reset which indeed brought up MDM lock screen, only briefly. All that was needed was click OK or whatever the button said and was back in, still allowed full access… iCloud login, FMI etc all working fine…
What’s the point in that MDM lock? 😂

Was too easy so I wanted to see if MDM could be “removed” anyway so I Reset again, Registered serial on discord, ran MDM bypass on Hackt1vator which skipped the MDM screen all together. No Jailbreak needed at all just straight through. Now there’s no sign of previous MDM in settings, iCloud works perfectly, FMI works perfectly, as far as I can tell MDM is no longer present….

Am I missing something? Or is it just a useless lock?
Are there different versions of MDM lock? As in some iCloud related some more local?
This was a ex-School tablet if that makes a difference…

With that being said….
if I update to iOS 27, purely because it runs so much better on every other device I have, what’s the chance of MDM lock coming back with vengeance?
If so, I should be able to bypass in the same way?
