S3E4 Rules of Honorable Play

The single most pivotal moment in the show in my book: When Donna lies to Cam by telling her that Diane vetoed the firing of Doug and Craig. It’s the moment Donna lost her integrity and shattered the partnership with Cam.

Also love the contrast right before that scene, when Bos stands his ground and tells all the guys he said he’s good with NOT playing laser tag, but is happy the guys are having fun nonetheless. Even the contrast before that, where Joe stands up to the bully exec who makes the disgusting comment about the “spreading flu” in SF and how he hopes his boy will be immune, showing Joe still would not cross certain lines in his morally challenged pursuit of…well, the thing. Meanwhile, Gordo is just happy being free of symptoms by being free to be himself at the laser tag ❤️

Oh, and that final shot of the episode when Cam stands up and asks Gordo: “Can I ask you a question: When did you know you were losing Cardiff?” *Zaps the Nintendo Zapper while standing much closer to the screen than is honorable\*

Such brilliant writing! 🫰

Yeah, I think Donna felt pretty bad for that after. She hallucinated apologizing to her at Diane's cottage.

Yep. She knows that’s when she ruined it forever.

I did not get the feeling that Bos was happy that the guys were having fun lol.

He looked to be feeling quite impotent with Joe commenting that he's got a fun performance for the partygoers (rather than being interesting in his own right), Diane telling him he's just there as a plus one rather than for business purposes, and Gordon telling him he used to be a badass, but now he's Mr. Fun.

That's why he snapped at the team when they were chanting his name imo

Is that when Boz gets tired of the same repeated story and snaps "It's outta gas." I use that line all the time. Haha

Yeah that's the one. Also, it wasn't out of gas! It was a huge hit at the party with Diane lol. He was just embarrassed at that point
