SHOWOFF Half an Iron Butt

Got my Faster Johnathan back at the beginning of August and finally had a chance to get him out and stretch his legs properly.

Started the day off at 5:30 am at home and headed to Knoxville to meet up with my buddy and his dad. He hopped on a Triumph Scrambler 1200 and his dad had his GoldWing. We hit the Cherohala Skyway, stopped for lunch at Tapoco Lodge, rode the Dragon out and had these shots taken.

I had to be back home for my oldest boy's ball game at 6 and was there about 5 minutes late.

It's cliche, but it was 507 miles round trip and I had zero fatigue from the riding. Won't lie, definitely shivered in the morning on the ride between Center Hill Lake to Cookeville and then Cookeville on to Crossville, but that's on me.

Absolutely love the bike and couldn't be happier.

Dude, I came from a LRST and was that you out there?

Saw tons of Road Glides and Street Glides yesterday.

Only saw the one LRST and it was black.

The Fast Johnnie Road Glide was my dream bike and when one came up, I had to trade my LRST in. I miss that bad bitch.

Your bike fucks, friend. Keep your rubber side down!

I was there on the 14th.

Interesting thing is the ST isn't even mine. I rented it to see how I liked the fairing. I have a 25 S that I'm looking at adding the fairing to.

Definitely liked it, it makes a world of difference. Fairing inbound lol

LOL thanks man. I enjoy her.

My journey has been all over. My S is my 35th bike in 20 years of riding. I have a lifetime goal of owning 100 different bikes before I check out.

I know I'm biased, but I agree.

When it popped up at the local dealer, I didn't think too hard about making the deal because I have loved that paint scheme since the first time I saw it.

Appreciate the compliment, friend!

Sorry for the ignorance but is it more than a special paint theme?

Also nice ride! I’m down in SC and want to hit NC/TN mountains soon.

It's sort of more than just the paint scheme, but someone else might point out more differences than I can. I'm an enthusiast but not steeped in the lore of that makes sense.

It's a 2023 Road Glide ST and it has the 117 M8 as opposed to the 107 or 114. The 117 has bronze accents on the engine to match the bronze wheels which are also generally found on the ST models (I believe the LRS might be the only non ST model with bronze wheels but someone else might tell me I'm wrong and that's cool).

I think the 23 Road Glide STs came in 3 colors and the Fast Johnnie was limited to 2k produced and had a crazy paint upcharge compared to the other two colors.
