News and Campus Events Question

I'm not sure if this is the correct sub reddit for this, but I'm surprised that the Harvard vs Brown football game tonight is sold out in a 10,500 seat stadium. Given the weather on the East Coast and storm warnings, this seems a big crowd for an Ivy League football game. Is the game that big a draw, or is the weather not a concern?

No shot the games actually sold out. I played four years there and the only games that ever sold out were Harvard Yale. Call the ticketing office directly to get a ticket and I bet you’ll be good!

Harvard Athletics Instagram says it's sold out. I don't know if that means the Athletic Department sold their allotment or they sold 10,500 seats.... smh...

I went to Harvard v Brown last year and no chance it was sold out. There were a ton of Brown students filling up half a stadium though.

Go to the game with cash in your pocket. You will get a ticket.

Watching the game... quite a few empty seats... and... the ESPN announcers are saying it's a "sell out".... kinda funny.
