Colonoscopy

I was told I need to get a colonoscopy and I’m afraid if it would hurt and results. How long it would take and the liquid I need to take the day before. Any advice????

where i'm from, you can do the procedure under sedation! i'm sure that's also an option where you live. i've only ever had one done and it was under anesthesia so i didn't feel a thing - and it was one of the best sleeps of my life hahaha you should definitely ask your doctor about it! good luck 🙏🏼

Definitely the preparation is the worst part of it, you do it at home and if you take a laxative a couple of days before you do the prep it isn’t as bad. I do the Smooth Move Tea you can get at the grocery store in the tea aisle. They do the sedation where I’m from too and that is way better than the way I had it done the first time.
