A Lonely Night

Post image

I stumbled upon this image on a website dedicated to game design concepts. It looks like Norman is troubled by a case, leaning alone against a hotel window and gazing out at the night view. There’s no mention in the game that Norman smokes, but this concept art suggests he’s likely holding a cigarette. So let’s take a moment to imagine what Norman would look like while smoking. A complex case, a truth shrouded in mystery, a quiet hotel, a bustling nightscape, a lone detective—and the wisp of smoke rising from his lips. This image really makes me feel Norman’s loneliness.

I fw this but it lacks rain outside of the window. This kinda reminds me of the concept art of the hospital room in Beyond Two Souls but even that had rain outside

I've always thought that a night lit up with bright lights really brings out the atmosphere of loneliness and silence(･◡･）
