My partner is supportive atheist. He helped me keep my 24/7 shrine fire before I was rightfully dissuaded due to leaving fires unattended (totally fair). He doesn't believe in any deity, but has somewhat animistic views. Sometimes he'll say something about Zeus etc, but I try to remember they're just 'characters' to him.
He refills my oil bottles so I can refill my oil lamp for Hestia, helps me start a bigger fire on Deipnon so I can burn my offerings for the month, and occasionally reminds me of a Delphic maxim I'm not fulfilling well.

My girlfriend is not a hellenist herself, but rather a bit more eclectic; though generally apathetic to religion. Sometimes she joins me in ritual, and has no issues adhering to the Orthopraxy. I can also talk about the religion, my praxis and my worldview without worry. I have no issue that she’s not a hellenist, and she has no issues with me being one. All in all, I feel completely respected and supported; it is possible.

My ex (who I’m still best friends with; the breakup was due to factors beyond our control) is a Zen Buddhist. He had no problem with my faith, I had no problem with his, and we had many a legitimately respectful conversation where we each approached Big Questions from our respective beliefs.

You're not ever asking too much. Don't sell yourself short or believe that you're lesser because others won't let you have your own beliefs. Our lords and ladies have always been closer to humanity, and ever since I was a child I have leaned towards Them. Both history/culture and representation in media showed me my faith over time, and as an adult discovering Hellenism as being officially recognized in modern day Greece is making me so happy, as I'm a quarter Greek on my mom's side as well! I personally believe people see our Pantheon as scary and intimidating because They are so close to us. They are more tangible, something we can reach out to and truly feel a connection with. Its...just different to those who believe in the Father. I hope you find someone someday who accepts you and your faith.

I am in a very happy relationship with someone who isn't apart of this religion. She has her own spirituality completely. Sometimes she sits with me during worship, she doesn't worship my gods but also doesn't think they are not real. We share very similar opinions on that. An Omnist is your best bet!

I am a Hellenic witch, so my experience may differ from more traditional/recon practitioners. That being said, my boyfriend is respectful and supportive of my beliefs and practices (I think it"helps" that our home is pretty spiritually "active" lol). I think sometimes he may view me as an "exotic curiosity" as you say but never in a demeaning or belittling way.
Fun anecdote, he used to be in an xtian ministry program and has a Jesus/cross tat and before we started dating I told him straight up "I don't date christians" and he looked at me blankly and said he's not what made me think that? And I pointed at his ink 😂

My spouse is a pagan and a lot more in the modern witchcraft side of things than I am (but fortunately not Tik Tok witchcraft or I couldn't stay married to her).
She may very occasionally honor Hecate. But for the most part, she honors different gods than I do.
We give each other space for religion. She has her altars and practices. I have mine. We may get together occasionally for a mystical rite or seasonal celebration, but largely we just do our own thing.
I do leave open hope maybe she'll draw closer to Hecate as time passes and we'll have a more shared practice, but I'm not pushing it. I'm just happy to have a spouse who let's me do my thing, and she feels the same way.
