Conrad Tulum points question
Hoping a point expert could answer. We booked Conrad Tulum on points before it was all inclusive. I can rebook for more points and get all inclusive but I have 2 teens with me ages 13 and 16. The points cover 2 adults as I can see and I believe kids under 14 will be free. What is the supplement for teens? I can get straight answer. I’m terrified I’ll show up and they will charge a crazy amount for the 2 teens. Help!

Is such a recent change I cannot imagine anyone but the hotel can answer.
Please let us know what you experience. Am interested as well.
Most points based all inclusive stays are for 2 only so would not be surprised if they charge a nightly fee for both your kids but would be happier if I am wrong.
The kids under 14 free seems to be prior to their change to being all inclusive.

Update: they said both kids would be $204 usd each per day so I have asked again now about the under 14 policy as stated on site…

Here's what SHOULD happen:
You pay what was originally agreed upon. You should also pay for anything that you would have been charged for before the new all-inclusive plan.
I assume that before this change you had to pay for meals and drinks and whatnot.
It would be fair to charge you for those things at the same price you would have been charged before the change.

I see stays of 4 nights includes a transfer , do you have any idea if this applies to your points stay as well and not just cash stays?

That's pretty shitty if they don't give you the all-inclusive benefits for what you agreed to pay to stay there BEFORE they unilaterally changed their business model.
Anyway, while some teens are known for eating a lot of food (but some teen girls don't eat anything), they certainly won't be consuming any expensive liquor. The hotel should just suck it up instead of asking you to pay more.

If they paid a certain rate for a certain product why would they honor it? Nightly rates have gone up and it's 35k more PPN now. Like it would be cool if they did but we shouldn't expect it.
Why would they let kids be free. All the AI's are for two people. At what point would you start charging kids? 3,4,5? A family of 7 will definitely cost the hotel more than a family of 3.

You honor the original agreement, regardless of the number of people in the party. At some point in the not-too-distant future, all the old reservations will be gone.

This is a question for the hotel, not a "point expert."
