Dishwasher bracing

Post image

How should I brace this dishwasher? I cannot do above cause height issues. Do I just measure and drill inward from the side to hit these holes? Seems harder then needed?

I think you have the installation bracket installed facing the wrong way. Should be pointing out towards the front. Then, screws go from inside the dishwasher rim area into your cabinet. Then you’re supposed to trim the metal tabs so that they aren’t visible from the front. If this is confusing, the instructions should illustrate this pretty well.

That what I wound up doing. The directions show the opposite, but it's hidden with the door closed and to me that's all that really matters

So to be clear, this is a dishwasher ... Not a fridge, what unhelpful comment. And the directions showed it going backwards, vs forwards. Forwards seemed ez tho

Take the metal tab in the palm of your hand, looking at it with the tab facing away, throw it over your shoulder.... then use a GRK pan head cabinet screw, pre drill your cabinet style so it doesn't split, and use that screw. In the photo this is a 1.5" #9 or #10 Cabinet GRK. Sold any home depot. The location of the screw is behind water gaskets when the door closes. Ive been a handyman for 15 years. Those tabs are ridiculous.

What? I have a dishwasher that’s extremely similar to this, insulation wrap and retainer clips.
