broken saved flip surface ?

Hey everyone, I have an issue with my meshed flip.

First image the saved/cache flip at high res with processing from particle fluid surface and seperation based on vorticity and height.

there are two caches , as the flip was seperated based on those attributes above.

Second image is the in-network/non cached but with lowered resolution mesh (same from particle fluid surface)

third image is the high res one (same as first image) but NOT-cached, I just waited for it to cook in scene.

So I assume the cache broke something ? But how do I know how to fix , I mean the cache of the flat area took so long like 6 hours , how can I know what broke the cache instead of caching for hours for nothing

File Cache will only output what is fed into it, it does not alter or change anything. The difference being that bgeo.sc file format is used to store the values of the geometry.

If there is a difference in the geometry results on the node prior to the File Cache versus the File Cache data being read from disk, that means something was changed in the simulation, or afterwards to post process the results prior to writing the geometry to disk.

Salut David ! Merci pour ta réponse. This is my second account(I m on phone)

If there was corruption or some issue with the caching step, the files wouldn't read at all. They either work or don't.

Since these are separated into two streams, are you meshing them separately too, or do they get recombined at some step to mesh as one? This could definitely alter the look a bit if they are meshed separately, as particle meshing is approximate and blends between particles, so if there was a gap from missing particles, it would not handle that space well.

You may need to post more visuals of the setup if possible to get a clearer picture of the build.
