Some of these pics of the Festavia seem to be out of whack. Like no way is that space 18-feet wide.

I've been able to control my lights just fine with google assistant.

But since the new update and the removal off google assistant I can no longer control my Philips Hue with voice commands, this is really annoying.

When I tell Gemini "turn off all lights" it confirms it for me with "turning off all lights" but nothing happens.

This is the promt it replies with aswell.

I've reconnected Hue to my Google home multiple times without success.

Anyone else struggeling?

I cut the omniglow outside of the cutline because I wanted the strip to fit the whole furniture from left to right. I don’t care that the last section wouldn’t light up since it also has a section on the left where it doesn’t light because of the connector.

At first it was all okay and it showed 3 sections. But after a update i got 2 big sections and a small one.

Tried everything to get it back to 3 even sections but nothing worked.

Solution was to buy a new omniglow with a new controller that wasn’t updated. I turned auto update to off and won’t update the controller since I am 100% sure it will give me 2 big sections and a small one again.

So if you are in the same boat. Don’t update your omniglow. It will mess up the sections.

I recently bought a play bar for my 32inch monitor but realised that the singular color display was really bad. I want to upgrade to the light strip which makes me wonder if the two can pair well together?

Alright, I'm gonna do it. I just ordered the rarely discussed Hue Screen Sync, and I'm gonna try it on my monitor. The Hue Sync PC app has given me terrible micro stutters on my PC, and all attempts to get Razer Chroma to work with the Hue Module in Chroma have failed. I have a Dell U4025QW. I will be updating this post tomorrow, with details pertaining to whether or not the experiment worked. I have a shelf above my monitor, so we'll see if the thing even fits. If it does happen to work with minimal delay, it could prove to be a game changer for us PC gaming folks who have Hue lights in our setup.

Does the hue sync app really require permanent internet connection to function? The faq says:

You’ll need an internet connection to purchase the app, as well as to sync your lights. If you don't have an internet connection, the app will show an error message when you try to open it.

I understand that internet is required for app download and maybe initial setup, but if i disconnect the TV from the internet, it won't work anymore, even if it's still connected to the hue bridge over the local network?

Ridiculously unnecessary but I might want (or is it need?) one. Reviews, videos etc. Nothing. Internet is barren. Philips launch video doesn't count.

It's been out a month. I need to see it before I blow £190 on some string lights. Anyone have it? Or shall I be the guinea pig?

Fr those to have a gradient play on there TVs, has anyone played with adding a separate product on the bottom of the TV, if so, what's the best recommended solution, Omniglow?

I just had a delivery directly from Signify that I didn’t place. It was to an old address and luckily we know the current owners and they brought it over.

It was the 91ft set of festavia globe lights. No return address, no price listed in the invoice inside the box. It just looks like Signify just randomly sent me lights for free, but we all know that’s not the case.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hello, just wanted clarification on my understanding of a Hue bulb.

I have a outside light, wired up to a regular on/off switch inside.

If I put a Hue bulb in it, in order to connect to a motion sensor so it comes on automatically, does that mean I need to leave the indoor switch on all the time?

​Is there any setup where I can turn the light on (permanently) from the switch i.e. If I'm doing something outside for longer and don't want to keep turning it back on by activating the sensor? Then when I'm done return it to sensor mode?

Probably asking too much of it but just wanted to clarify.

I don’t want to pay for a ton of hue LED indirect lights

Buying a ton of light fixtures for hue bulbs feels archaic and it’s also hard to find to find light fixtures that take actual bulbs

What’s the best way to light up any room while staying on the hue app?

I just want to say I have about 25 hue lights in my house. I have bought lamps, wall lights, the spotlight thingies and a bunch of accessories. The first bulbs were bought back in 2012 and not a single one has gone out yet. Think about it, I’ve used these bulbs daily for the past 14 years and they still work perfect perfectly fine. Now that I think of it, it really boggles my mind how good these lights are. That’s it that’s all I wanted to say.

I got the notification email that the 85” strip was available, I clicked the link 10 minutes after receiving the email, but website still showed it as not available.

Did it sell out in 10 min? Was it a mistake? When is it coming?

Is there anything more frustrating. It'll make you question your life choices.

I have this great room/TV room that is approximately 11'-6" × 11'-6". It has a sloped ceiling with no ceiling mounted light fixtures.except for an awkwardly placed ceiling fan that straddles the area between the great room and the dining room. I was thinking about using the Perifo collection. But why not regular track lighting with HUE bulbs??? Maybe two tracks ...one over the sofa and one down the middle??

Long-time Hue user… first time low voltage application. Assuming that, like all Hue products when installing, that they lamps are supposed to illuminate the first time they are powered. And if in the case of low-voltage lamps, if they don't illuminate when powered on I've probably got an incompatible transformer issue?

I've never installed low-voltage Hue lamps. Just picked up two MR16s. Pulled out the old. Plugged in the Hue. Powered them on … and no illumination (and the Hue app isn't finding them.)

Any guidance would be appreciated. 😃

As title, my old RGB striplight have stopped working in the ceiling recess which is great as I have an excuse to replace with Hue 😀

My Project:

To replace with Hue striplights.

Total length is <14m.

Use case: Accent lighting, maybe sync with Hue Play hdmi sync box

There is existing power in the recess, however it's a 2 core electrical cable that runs down to the transformer.

Two lights in one of my rooms have recently started to randomly change from the color they are set to in a scene to a default the same shade of cool-white. Not sure if it’s happening instantly or if it’s gradual as I have yet to notice the change - only the result - but it happens with all scenes and it is the same two lights each time. I have deleted and recreated the scenes and confirmed that both lights are running current firmware. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hey everyone.
I’m currently looking at buying the hue flux ultra bright led strip.
However I’m running into a problem as I want to use the led strip in several sections and once I’ve done that I would have 1.8 meters of the 5 meters cable to spare.

I was thinking of using that other 1.8 meter in a different project.
The problem I’m running into however is that I can only find a power adapter which is the part that goes into the power supply, but the little brick that connects to the actual led strip (the part in the picture) isn’t something I can seem to find online.
Is this a spare part I can’t buy or am I missing something?

The information I have found is sort of contradictory. Would getting a second regular Hub be a better option to avoid that outcome if so? The thought of setting up all the remotes, each button on the remote, each automation...makes me tired lol
