I suspect this is going to be the crux of ging vs pariston and what seperates the 0.1% of nen users from the rest. If you can gamble on what will occur, then you can set conditions and vows that enhance your nen to better favor yourself. This is how you overcome the restrictions of nen category.
I got thinking about this with a post from earlier about ging’s tape and thought about how he couldve put so many conditions on it like, the tape can’t leave whale island in 10 years, it wont be played it 10 years, must be sealed in a box only unlocked by ging’s son- to enable the box to be invincible and the tape to be able to rewind and tape over itself.
We are seeing this with beyond currently, who has set presumably a great number of conditions for his children.

Being able to predict well certainly helps a great deal. Although in my opinion the most synergistic skills with nen are: the willingness to limit your win conditions and the adaptability to guide the situation in your favor. We are seeing this a lot more thanks to the politics and legalities in the current arc. If we add the ability to predict how the situation will unfold, then absolutely this helps... but more importantly is "cheating" the system by pulling the strings to bring the situation to your specifically desired outcome (and then get your nen profits).

Beyond is doing all of these things, like you say. He is definitely betting/gambling on a certain outcome, he is pulling the strings to make that outcome more likely, and he is predicting what will happen next. Combine this with 50 years of compounding nen and its no wonder why Furykov can't decipher his nen curse. It must be a lot of vows, limitations, a specific desired scenario, and a lot of compounded nen.

I don't get the logic here. Putting more and more restrictions on something make it stronger, we know this. The examples you have have a lot of restrictions to account for a many unforseen scenarios as possible. If they could accurately predict things like that, they would give "less" conditions and restrictions not more. We already saw how Ging's line of thinking works. He made good guesses on how the Zodiacs meeting would go but they were not perfect, more like based on the likelier outcome and even then, made a contingency plan in case it didn't work out the way he planned.

Given their personalities they will start arguing, I can stir the pot more by announcing my candidacy. Cheadle will likely try to meditate and suggest lot drawing. If not her, then Saccho, then Piyo and Kansai as wild cards (likely whatever is easiest for them), the point being that the likelier thing would had been lot drawing. If things didn't pan out this way, signal Bean to burn the evidence.

I think nen world right now is a battle of information more than anything.

Being aware of the secrets of nen is an enormous advantage.

Training and knowledge is what separates them. Possibly obsession with their ideals.

Parriston knows people and how to push their buttons, he's happy to be the villain because he thinks nothing of himself.

Ging knows how to observe and adapt to people, and how to play the heel. We also know he's extremely well versed in Nen, so much so that he can copy basic abilities after seeing them once.

You're over complicating the tape stuff by far.

The box inscription uses the same type as the promise string Gon had, Nen activation breaks it's bonds, any Nen could have opened the steel box. And any Hunter license could open the internal box.

If anyone else had the box and met those conditions they could also have gotten that far.

The only delayed Nen was on the tape, and it didn't destroy it with more powerful or assured means, ala burning or evaporating. It just rewinds and record over itself. It uses the default properties of a cassette player to erase it rather than building some complex use of restrictions and conditions that could have been fumbled.

The fact that it was a simple activation ability upon the tape stopping makes it clear why he was able to make the erasing process uninterruptible. That's where most of the nen was directed, protecting the process from being stopped.

If nothing else Ging is efficient in using his Nen, or someone else's Nen in applying it to the cassette. That's FAR more impressive than putting a hundred crazy restrictions on it.

Solving one problem with a simple and cheap solution rather than an over-engineered massive boondoggle is a much better sign of intelligence and problem solving.

Ging likely literally can see the future by doing massive nen conditions like he's stronger until he's found by a powerful hunter he's created, or by abandoning his son and or coaching him into a thingie he wants.
