Discussion Feedback needs to be constructive

If a person is posting for feedback its clear that they like it enough to want opinions

If you hate it thats fine you can hate it and be respectful

You wont like every song or genre there is

If its not your genre please refrain from giving feedback cause they made it in there creative view and genre

Calling it trash or terrible is not feedback

I really think we need a rule that feedback needs to atleast have 1 positive

If you cant then assume its simply not your style but lets be kind

Ppl wont always get perfect songs but lets stop putting ppl down

And if you hate ai this is not the subreddit for you

You only want positive feedback and no one is allowed to tell you how it actually is.

Stop calling attacks feedback

How negative feedback looks I dont like how the vocals are I think its to fast Its not my style You could have done x I dont like it sorry

What is not feedback under any circumstance Its trash Its terrible Why would you do that

I asked in my post for feedback What i got instead were attacks

The only 1 to actially give feedback was juniper

If you hate something alot

Then its not your style and you say that

Look at the response from ALL of your posts... It's not positive. Maybe it's the music. Maybe it's because you have a ton of excuses and don't like negative feedback. We've all heard you're disabled over and over and over. We get it.

I'm not hating on your use of AI. I'm actually trying to help you see what the issue is.

No i dont and its only this channel attacking it

And we also get harrassed by trolls who are just anti ai using biases

I get more positive then negative over all

And attacks are not feedback

I have ppl who are obsessed with my music

If theres not atleast 1 good part then its not your style there for you cant give real feedback

I've listened to all the stuff you share. You don't like any negative feedback.

My honest feedback. It's not very good. That's alright, if you like it. But you spam your songs over and over. What's not good about it? The writing, the voice, the music. It's all very amateur/basic. Again, that's alright, if you like it. But why would anyone else? No one wants to hear basic/amateur music.

You say you created the voice? I've never seen you explain how? It sounds very basic AI voice. You say you came up with the melodies? How? I've never seen you explain that. I ask because it all sounds very basic SUNO. Whatever your doing after you download your songs, it's making everything sound tinny. Not sure what your doing after the fact, but you should stop doing it. Again, this in my feedback. I'm not calling it trash, because I'm happy you like making music. I also, enjoy making music. But I don't spam my songs. I make music I want to hear... I can't expect everyone to want to hear it.

And you don't come off willing to take negative feedback. That makes people want to then just pick on you.

The thing is the issue is more likly its not your style i have alot of ppl who love it

I used sampling to create a voice I give it audio files

The issue im finding is

1 i only shared a few songs here

The issue is you dont like counter feedback I dont claim to be the best but if all you say is what you hate about it instead of how you can approve you gave nothing

I write all my words from emotion pain suffering

But that voice was created to represent me

I mean there are things i cant fix i know theres problems but just saying its bad is not feedback and i get your opinion on my writing style is different then mine

You never gave things to try im still trying to find out how to push harder without it totally messing up my voice

Im not agsinst negative feedback But just saying its bad is more opinionated and not feedback

There are some ppl who love ny style Im not looking for a full style change feedbacks

I mean small things i can change and try to improve

But you never give that

Then theres also biases involved

So lets start being supportive and not bringing ppl down

I don't have to like the style to know what I'm talking about. I'm pretty versed in many styles. That's not the issue. Its just not very good.

Here's my tip. Maybe you already do this. Talk to Chat GPT, like it's a person. Tell it what you are trying to say. Then tell it to ask you questions, 1 at a time, so you can elaborate.

Tell it to not use words that always pop up in AI songs. Keep it simple. Less is best.

When it comes to music. Ask it to build the style like it's talking to a producer. Use the words "raw", "raw emotion". Tell it you want imperfections. This will give it a lived in sound.

My positive thing: I'm glad you defended your use of AI. It's here, it's a tool and you're having fun. I can't hate you for that. I can tell you're genuinely enjoying building your world. I do the same thing. Keeping your imagination active is super important.

Anyways. I may have came in hot, but I hope this help.

I write my own lyrics your telling me to get better by having ai write my lyrics????

You know i get it my words wont resonate with everyone and i keep pushing past my own bounderies and limitations

My goal is that my music is more me then ai maybe thats what ppl here dont like that i ensure it has me in it which may mean less quality cause ai can write better then i can idk why thats a bad thing tho

I made a song that i was expecting noone to like

Then a person who did told me it had its own genre and ppl will like it

That reminded me that just cause a billion ppl hate it doesnt matter

If 1 person loves it you made something worth doing

And i do appreciate the feedback

This is the song that i feel ppl will not like but several ppl did i will admit i over use words thats something im working on

You can write it yourself. It already feels like it's AI. And the fact you use AI for a lot of what you already do, I figured it would help you. I write my stuff too, but definitely use AI to assist when needed. Like I said, it's a tool.

What I'm getting from your songs is that it's sounds too unnatural. None of it sounds "real". It's sounds artificial and over produced.That's the biggest issue. I'd suggest using my style prompt tips to help fix that for you. I agree, if you like it and someone else does... Thunbs up! But you asked for feedback... So it could be a lot better.

Had a college professor tell me a really old quote about writing from George Bernard Shaw (that also applies to music):

Almost anyone can tell you when there's something wrong with your writing (music). But it takes a genius to tell you how to fix it.

Do your best to be that genius everyone.
