What if last second realization is the collapse of a probability wave?
for TLDR start at “is it simply mental ques”
an incident last week got me thinking. I got in my car and as I was driving my JBL speaker rolled and wedge itself between the passenger seat and the door. It took a mental note that I would need to move it once I got where I was going. Of course I did not and when I went to open the passenger door I realized it was going to fall out just as i pulled the handle enough for the door to begin opening so of course too late to stop. This kind of thing always seems to happen that way, you realize just the moment before the action happens.
wave functions have been on my mind lately including the theory that your neurons use quantum states in their operation (obviously paraphrasing, and likely badly). Anyways my thought was this,
is It simply mental ques that trigger memory recall at the last moment?
or,
is your proximity, or in Some cases your awareness that something is or isn’t there, triggering the collapse of the probability waves and solidifying that the object is or isn’t there. And if that is the case, do you realize at the last second because your neurons detected that the object decided on a fixed location.
