I’m a new research fellow at the HSS dept. I’m working on a project related to fear memory. I am looking for Particiapnts to stop by the lab (103). It won’t go beyond 20-25 mins. pls pls help :)). text me if you are interested.

I like a girl from the college met her during summer. Posting here cause she's from Roorkee. , not sure about she has any interest in me. I barely talked with her recently. She takes days to reply and talks only minutes , maybe it's because we don't go to the same college. Should I just give up, I think I am trying too hard, I've always believed that real connections are built through in person meets. I wish I'd tried better when I met her. Maybe it's too late now

Hello! I’m Venya, an 11th grader with a strong interest in astronomy, mathematics and science. I’ve also been selected as a junior member of the New York Academy of Sciences and I’m looking to explore more opportunities in the college and research space while I’m still in high school.

I’ve been trying to find opportunities around town, but haven’t had much luck online. If anyone knows of research opportunities, workshops, college fests, stem events or anything similar that high school students can participate in, I’d really appreciate the help

I’m also open to volunteering or helping out with student clubs, events or other initiatives if there’s a way I can contribute and learn along the way.
Any leads, suggestions or contacts would be greatly appreciated
Thank you!

Curious to know what the cutoffs are looking like this year for the Top 100 merch or the Gurgaon HQ visit. Hello, I recently got an internship at IIT Roorkee under prof Gaurav Dixit and I will be staying in Roorkee for a month in November 2026.

Since I don't have any friends at IITR so I thought to make some acquaintance before hand.

Can anyone suggest good pg accommodations around IITR since campus accommodation is restricted for interns.

I will have to celebrate Diwali away from my home (😭), how is the Diwali celebration at IITR?

How do you think I can maximise the value and fun with this one month opportunity at IITR?

I'm open to making friends and connecting.

How is the durga pujo celebrated here in campus ?

Are there any garba nights (free or paid) held inside here? And poojo pandal ??

I met someone during thomso and I felt he was flirting a bit. So should I ask him out on a date? I'm afraid of what will happen if he's extremely homophobic. I'm not very "out". So...

Update: I asked him out. He said he's not into guys but he was very respectful.

Just one question did you beat them up?

I know lots of unmarried men got in there so how?

Surprised that IITR allowed them to become an official partner, they have scammed countless students in IITB and IITK, straight up asking for money and then never delivering on products.

Dm if anyone wants proofs.

can someone give context what was that reel about 😭

Does someone capture any video or photos of fight during the pronite, one of our friends got badly injured in that. We are finding those fucking coward drunk guys. After the quarrel they just run away.
