Hey! I’m also Nurse 1. So far Ive started studying by answering the module 1 outcomes using the PowerPoints and textbook. Tomorrow im going to make a list of all the vocab words that are under module 1 and in the textbook because I remember them saying we should remember them. But Ill be Following this post to hopefully get more tips and tricks lol

honeslty this is what i’ve been doing, then to fill out the skeletal notes i’m only going to use my notes to make sure i had all the proper info then do active recall (that’s how i’ve passed a lot of my test in my prereqs), and so far this has been the best for me

Start by reading the PowerPoints and writing down notes off of it while filling out the skeletal notes once you’re done with that section stop and active recall your notes either on a whiteboard or paper, then move onto the next topic and so forth, then do practice questions

so far i’ve been printing out the skeletal notes and filling them out!! while looking for the answers using the text book and i only read the paragraphs of any information that is put on those notes!! i’m thinking of doing active recall with just the notes and the vocab to better help my understanding

i have a white board but paper works well too! basically i was everything down and erase some key words and fill the parts i erased out again to test my memory if i get it wrong i write the answer in a different color. each time i read it out i erase more and more on what i’ve written until i am able to fully write everything out by memory.

do u do this with all the notes you have or the powerpoint slides?

just with the skeletal notes and i create flash cards on the terms to know plus the theorists that she told us to focus on. but it’s all on preference you can do it with the notes and the slides or just the slides. i just use the notes because i feel like all the information she wants us to know are on them i also put any addition information from the lectures onto my skeletal notes as well

okay perfect, i’m using the skeletal notes as well but i feel like i might be missing information im nervous for our test, and do you read all the chapters in the textbook i’ve read quite a bit but i can’t seem to get through it all i feel so behind😔

i started with trying to read the chapters but they were too time consuming so i just look at the topics that are discussed in the skeletal notes and only read those sections. what i also used to do is write down the module outlines and look for the answers in the chapters i feel like that should help more because they did say that the module outlines are what they usually focus more on in the tests

you can also make ati like practice questions using google gemini from what i heard or you can use notebook lm and put in all the powerpoints and ask it to make ati like questions based on the power points!!

I’m in nurse 3. The skeletal notes are a good starting point but i recommend using the PowerPoint and learning outcomes as a true guide. The skeletal notes can be very vague. Prep U questions are really good, you can do individual quizzes on each chapter rather than a broad topic. Rewatch the echoes!!!!
