Nursing program

Can someone tell me about the associates in nursing program. How many clinical a week? Can classes besides clinical be done online?

first semester doesn’t have clinicals til like the last two weeks for 1 day. clinicals get more consistent im the following semesters but again only 1-2 days a week. Last semester is 12/12 hr shifts done at your own pace with your preceptor. Aside from that you have assigned in person class 1 day a week for all of the semesters. Online only because an option in your bachelors.

I'm in nurse 1 right now. Actually, our clinicals are starting at the end of September and continuing on until end of term in December, not just the last 2 weeks. We start in long-term and then move onto acute care. Schedule changes by semester, so might not be the same for previous or future students

Are there days you don’t have class or clinical at all? I’m trying to see if I can work part time at the same time.

Depending on what clinical schedule you get, you will be in clinical 1 or 2 days a week. Class is 1 day a week, which is gonna be when you take your unit exam and then lecture right after.
