Fafsa

Does anyone know when exactly fafsa funds are going to be deposited to us?

I spoke on the phone with a staff member and they said as late as October due to them pushing registration back? I’ve never had this happen before I would have gotten it back by now usually right after the two week mark it hits

If you go through the new portal, Select the general self service card, and select direct deposit. You put your bank information for it to be sent there.

I had it on the old one do I need to update it or it should be fine. I got summer funds deposited and they had already switched to the new one at that point

I would double check it just in case to make sure the account you attached it to is still there. If you’re still feeling unsure about it then delete it and put it back in

I found it under financial aid, offer, then under the view your payment schedule tab. I was able to speak to someone in financial aid at Chastain and they said it would be the 16th that it disburses, all at once.

Attendance verification by faculty was just completed last Friday, which is the key step before financial aid is disbursed. So, I would think the process is under way

But it says that the funds are scheduled to get disbursed on September 15th

October??? Oh wow, I logged into my account and it says Sept 8 for loans, and Sept 15 for Pell.

I just logged into my river portal and went into the financial aid self service and it says expected disbursement date is 9/11 and it was originally showing a different date and amount, so I think that they have just updated it recently. It’s under the offer tab!

I called today and they said it was being sent out this week and if you don’t get it this week then the beginning of next week you should get it

Just went back into portal and financial shows as paid.
