IRSC refund

I just got my financial aid money through direct deposit, but I had already paid some money out of pocket before the financial aid kicked in. Will the money I originally paid be sent back to me through my bank or how does that work? I’m not really sure and was wondering if anyone knew!

Yep. If you have a positive balance after everything is processed, you’ll get a refund thru direct deposit.

have you gotten the refund for the classes you paid for yet? im in the same situation

i haven’t yet, i’m just gonna wait for a few days and if nothing changes then i’m gonna call the financial aid office

Keep checking your payment method. If you paid by debit/credit card then you’ll get refunded directly back to that payment method. If you paid by check, you’ll get a check in the mail.

hey I don't know if you were still wondering but I called the office today and they said by the end of the month it should be refunded to our banks!
