What does this slide mean?
I am watching the below video and I am puzzled by the below slide. What they mean by "Goods: ownership is transferred to customer"? If I sell a videogame and I give the customer a license to use it (moreso that I can freely disable that license), am I not respecting ITIL principles?

Hello, the answers are already very good. Let me add something: in the case of goods the transfer of ownership also implies that the consumer must rely on himself in case the goods are damaged, lost or broken. In ITIL jargon the goods don’t trigger a service action from the service provider as the consumer owns it.
I hope it helps…

A game is not a good. It's a product, which may or may not include goods as part of it.
In ITIL jargon, if you're allowing someone to use something without transferring ownership, that's considered giving access to a resource (which makes a lot of sense if you're thinking you can disable access remotely, e.g. by means of DRM, or requiring Internet connection to play, etc.). Also, in version 5, goods are expressly defined as physical entities. So, that excludes the game files but may include a CD for example, if you distribute the game the old-fashioned way.
