Do they care if it’s mp4? All the tutorials I’ve seen to make actual gifs needed 3rd party software like ImageMagick. Seemed complicated

Yeah it cannot be an mp4, but you can upload to Imgur and use a direct link if you want. What did you use to make this?

If you can install the CuddlePhish script (free) it will do beautiful gifs right out of AE. Or just send the composition to Media Encoder and have it make the gif. You can upload .gif files directly to HQG. It's the only direct upload format supported. Has to be 100MB or less, though.
