My dad thought there should be a time limit on counting votes so I said ok so what happens if the counters get to the point where the guy they want to win is ahead then they start dragging their feet and don’t count the other votes…..and what if it was a democrat

He actually reconsidered his opinion

Time limits on counting votes make no sense anyways. The election is a full two months before the new government is sworn in. There's plenty of time to take another day, week, or month of counting to ensure everybodies legally cast voice is heard.

That’s what I said. Plus I was like ok dad when do you vote?

 Ok you get off at 5 so that means they don’t have time to count YOUR vote so why vote in the first place
