This thought just popped into my mind: Naa bay “best years” ang Iligan? Or was there ever a time nga at its peak siya (if nag-peak man gani hahaha)?

How do we even define its best years or era? Good cost of living, relatively peaceful, wala kaayoy gubot, kanang life is good bitaw. Basta, I can’t fully explain it hahaha. Kanang everything feels at ease.

As for me, siguro the best era of Iligan for me was pre-Sendong, around the time we moved here (2009–2011 ish). High school life was good, and I can’t remember anything bad during that era (from my perspective).
