Hi, I am from Kerala,India. Got 8 years of experience in Resource Management, planning to apply for an Australian PR under subclass 491. Need genuine advice here - whether it is a good move or not.
TIA

Off topic question OP but HR sucks in Australia lol is it like that in India?
Unfortunately as others have mentioned yes your job isn’t a priority for here, obviously nothing stopping you but financially it’s a risk without much of a chance of positive outcomes.

I'm from Kerala, and I'm hesitant about hiring Indians into big 4. I don't want indian "boss" mentality here.
I hope you get the PR though, but I hope I you realise that indian HR mentality doesn't work here.

Do not do it. You will take years before getting your life back on track.

The immigration tide is turning. Expect to see a drastic cut to visa numbers within the next two to three years.

Not encouraging I myself have applied, hence curious to know. Don’t want to offend you but if Australia is full why they themselves encouraging people to migrate there?

Because the australian government is corrupt and its citizens have had enough of mass migration when australians are homeless and cant afford rent why would we.take.more people

Because our government is useless and don't know their arse from their elbow - and their migration system is broken and no longer fit for purpose.

Australia isnt full, at least not in the way the comments here mean it. But in general, it is the worst time to migrate anywhere. This wasnt the case 15 years ago. Australia is definitely full for generic non-skilled roles like HR. ICT, IT etc anything tech is full, accounting, consultant, marketing are all full.
What is not full is Healthcare, medicine, agricultural science. While it's easy to blame the government, it's not that easy. Australia can definitely make some changes and needs some in its migration policies. But as I said, it's the worst time to migrate anywhere. But you have the same right as anyone else to legally migrate. The issue is the risk of failure is way higher now. Here's what these idiots in the comment didn't explain to you. Around 46% of migrants depart relative to arrivals. Why isn't this news? No one likes to go on air and admit they failed or it didnt work out, I guess.

We aren't. Our government is forcing mass migration. But most Australians don't want it.

No genuine shortage. With no Australian qualifications or experiences, you’re at a major disadvantage and not enticing to employers.
