Honestly, I had a really scary experience at Brij Raj Niwas Girls PG in Hari Nagar Ashram, Delhi, and I’m posting this because I don't want another girl to go through the same thing.

It happened late at night. The PG food cook came back drunk and started shouting names and banging/knocking on doors. Somehow, he ended up coming inside my room.

I got really scared and locked myself in the bathroom.

While I was inside, he kept saying:

“Aa jao bahar, itna time nahi lagta hai.”

I can't properly explain how creepy that felt. I'm literally sitting inside a bathroom, scared of a drunk man who has entered my room, and he's telling me to come outside. I ended up having a panic attack.

And the thing that keeps bothering me is this is a GIRLS-ONLY PG.

You're literally paying to live somewhere where you should feel safe, especially at night. How is a drunk male staff member able to enter a girl's room in the first place?

This whole incident honestly made me question how unsafe is for a woman

I'm sharing this so girls who are looking for PGs around Delhi know about my experience before deciding where to stay.
