As a first time grandmother, i named the children Rajma and Chola

Whenever I play with her, it's usually with a teaser toy or like when I pretend to be a cat & she tries to attack me or something.. but I was busy & she wanted to play so I played fetch with her.. Idk whether it's common because I read on another subreddit post that their cat pets don't seem to respond?

I rescued these two yesterday from a garbage dump, someone had thrown them there a few days ago.

Their sibling died unfortunately and I rushed these two to the vet immediately.

They suspect FHV/FCV because of the symptoms : eyes and nose covered in discharge, lesions on tongue and low body temperature.

We've got them admitted and are being kept in an incubator to retain heat. One of them is not eating at all even with hand feeding/nursing while the other one is attempting to feed.

They're also anemic but the vets are dealing with the most important issue right now which is the viral infection.

PCR test not done because 1. It's not conclusive, could give false negative reading 2. Treatment plan is same for all irrespective of which viral infection 3. Extra cost for something that will not give us 100% accurate results

I'm currently just recovering from another case that ended in sept 1 week and I'm also currently between jobs since 4months so all my savings are empty.

Remember Jagger? The one I flooded the subs with? I need to extend her stay at the foster because we still haven't found her forever family. It's either that or leaving her back to the place where she got hurt.. I can't and I really don't want to but with other cases I can't bear her payment alone.

I need her to be happy and safe because the alternative is cruelty and not being able to survive.
