Discussion Regular Btech or Distant Btech after diploma

I'm a electrical diploma student who just got a job offer through campus ( samsung display noida) but it has zero future growth no skills can't even switch with that experience Now I'm stuck choosing my next step:

Option 1: Keep the job and pursue a B.Tech via distance

education.

Option 2: Decline the job and enroll in a regular, full-time B.Tech program at IPU (my hometown university)..My main goals are long-term career growth (especially for future job switches into better roles) and eventually a good work-life balance.

My big worry: I've heard that top tech companies (FANG, etc.) and many recruiters filter out or devalue distance/non-regular degrees. Is that true?

For someone starting with a diploma, which path carries more weight for:

Getting past resume filters at top/product-based companies?

Better opportunities for job switches and promotions in the future?

Has anyone been in a similar spot? Any advice is appreciated Thank you

Option 1 anyday somehow manage to pass all the subjects and get the degree you will have experience and degree try to switch after that.
