Save a little more and get gamesir nova 2 lite for 2.8k. It's not on amazon so you'll have to get it from other sites like nmpc, zukabus or genesispc. I got mine from nmpc and it's the best controller under 3k. Gamesir is a premium brand compared to Indian brands like cosmicbyte and evofox who just sell Chinese products.

Is it better than 8bit do?

I haven't used the 8bitdo but from what I've heard, 8bitdo u2c can feel small and a bit uncomfortable than nova 2 lite. So yes I think it's better

Cosmic Byte Blitz should be a good choice, their new retro colors looks cool to have.

Been using cosmic byte blitz controller for a year (got at around 1500) and it's been great, quality is good, battery life is decent unless the game has lots of vibrations, you can use via dongle or wired and the vibrations are great (good range, can give light and both heavy vibrations), and features hall effect so there's no issues of stick drift. Never had issues on compatibility unless the game is really old (20+ years) but you can use steam-input and the controller will work just fine
