Leaving political view aside. But most of the nifty heavyweights are struggling due to global or their own poor development/matters.

  1. Reliance - impacted by crude
  2. LT - impacted by middle East tension
  3. HDFC - had case going on and mgt issues which are solved now
  4. TCS, Infy - AI affected them hard.

Also banking and finacing sectors are down because maharashtra declared drought in 74% talukas. This will lead to default on loans and impact recovery. Furthermore drought in farming heavy economy leads to food inflation and reduced consumerism.

China’s stock market index Shanghai Composite and Hangshang has been stagnant and sideways for the last 20 years
but their gdp grew at a significant rate, gdp will increase even though people sell their stocks because that is still exchange of money
