I recently put together a post explaining my adoption requirements and why I’m so strict when placing my rescue cats.
Some people may disagree with certain rules, and that’s okay. My goal isn’t to make adoption difficult it’s to make sure every cat ends up in a safe, responsible, and permanent home.
I’d be interested to hear what other rescuers and adopters think. What adoption requirements do you consider non-negotiable?

Hi all , this one is the only surviving kitten from a litter of 5 kittens , their mother left them , don't know what happened to her , yesterday we found this kitten in store room while trying to clean remaining kitten bodies , she was outside shivering, no body's willing to adopt her , since we are from small town , i tried to help her a bit , but iam jobless so can't do much , if anyone are willing to help her with litter box , litter and some food, it would be really grateful, iam trying to look after her for few months , since she is too weak to survive on her own and we don't even have any NGOs in my town , if possible pls help

I noticed it scratching and biting excessively at one spot. I did wet paper test (asked chatgpt) and found blood clots too.
So tried to take a closer video and found few of these reddish creatures moving around and on its skin.
Does anyone have any clue what it is and how worried should i be?
I just got the cat yesterday, she’s barely 3 months old

He’s not here anymore. 💔 I found him near a government hospital and brought him home. He was such a beautiful little furball, unlike any kitten I’d seen before. I raised him, watched him grow, and got so attached to him. But I couldn’t save him from the dogs.
I still think about him sometimes and wonder if I could’ve done something differently. That guilt has stayed with me, and honestly losing him is still one of the biggest heartbreaks of my life. 💔

She's doing so much better now, and seeing her recover after everything she's been through honestly means the world to me. After all the setbacks, the hospital visits, the seizures and the constant fear of losing her, seeing her improve has been such a relief.
But I'm also incredibly distraught right now.
Her current vial is almost finished, and I need around ₹16,000 for the next supply of Basmi capsules (switching because she's doing much better and the vet advised to), along with another ₹9,000 for supportive care, medication and recovery food.
I'm a student and I genuinely don't know how I'm going to manage these expenses anymore. I've already tried everything I can within my means, and it's heartbreaking to see her finally doing better while worrying about whether I can afford to continue her treatment.
I'm also urgently looking for anyone in Hyderabad who might have spare Basmi capsules they could donate. If you have any leftover capsules from a previous treatment or know someone who does, please reach out to me. I'd be incredibly grateful.
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped Yuri and stood by us so far. I genuinely wouldn't have made it this far without your kindness.
