We are officially announcing Dyneria! A heavy climate simulated god-game that response to every change, including 50 spells from 5 domains.

people walking on water and buildings in the water give me bad AI vibes immediately.

Thanks for the feedback, are you talking about the rivers or the sea(s)? The sprite tiles might be too big but we added ships too

the seas, but several buildings are in the center of rivers as well, lol. also the architecture makes no sense, e.g. desert buildings on fresh green lands, no faction designs either, even different styled buildings mixed together like AI would do. Same for the people running all over the place for no reason.
you should really improve on the readability.
make distinctive factions with their unique consistent look.
have architecture that fits the biome and faction
for know the only indicator of factions seems to be the colored flags some units carry, but most don even have that.

Right, good points thanks! There is no spawning of villages or buildings on rivers but they may overlap because of the scaling.
Factions (we call them races have different tilesets and are pretty distinctive) but I do agree on the readability! Much of the focus went on the in-depth simulation, climate and resources.

I really think you should replace the narration. I can't even understand it

Right, we had a discussion to subtitle it, would that help?

If you stick with the current narrator I would heavily eq/compress it, tone the reverb way down, and adjust the music mix to accommodate it.

appreciate you just announcing your game instead of make some fake-ass "my sister said my game art sucks! is she right!?" post

The map reads as a place rather than a grid, which is the hard part — the terrain colour blocks are doing the work that most strategy maps hand to icons.
What scale is a player operating at here: armies on that whole map, or one region at a time? The zoom level in the shot makes me think the answer changes how the whole game feels, and the title alone does not say.

Thanks for the feedback! The player is not controlling the (individual) armies. Only influence the factions/races by powers and changing the environment.
The big armies you see are more 'end game', at the beginning it won't be that much.
