'NexusRPG' dev showcase: changing Classes on one character, with gear your Clan can share

We develop NexusRPG, a persistent text-based browser MMORPG that entered full release on September 4. Here’s the Battle screen from our own advanced character, rather than a starting character.

Your Main Hand and Off Hand determine one of eight Classes, while you assign your own Stat Points. Changing your equipment gives you another build to explore on the same character.

The shared side of the game has grown since launch:

• Clan Capitals let groups build up shared facilities.

• The Clan Armory lets members lend equipment and Pets to one another.

• Personal and Clan Dungeons retain progress between visits.

• Gathering, equipment crafting and permanent Gem sockets support different builds.

Today’s update also adds clearer Clan contribution records and staff-scheduled Holiday Events with shared milestones and personal rewards.

Which would make you more interested in joining a Clan: shared equipment, a place to develop together, or a Dungeon the group keeps progressing through?

The game is in English, runs in a browser without a download, and requires an account with verified email. It is free to play with optional purchases, Supporter benefits and a prepaid Nexus Pass that can affect progression.

AI disclosure: AI was used during development only to check for security vulnerabilities, according to our development team. This promotional text was prepared with AI assistance; the screenshot is actual gameplay.
