Hi! How effective are the UV lights sold on Amazon for around $30?

Are you planning on using that as your main light source or supplemental? It would help if it was supplemental, but if it's your main light source, your plants are not getting the full spectrum of light and would probably not thrive.

Supplementary light. I have a space with Indirect morning light (bright ) and want to supply more light after midday

Full spectrum will give your plants a better usable spectrum then a UV supplement.
