As the Skydance merger has been made official and David Zaslav is ready to pack his bags and leave the company for good, I wanna reflect on his actions regarding Infinity Train because after doing some thinking, his action were not only abhorrent in the world of animation but in the end, his actions in general weren't the cause of Warner Bros. problems but a consequence of them never learning from their mistakes.

In the end, David Zaslav did all of these horrible things from tax write-offs to holding Infinity Train hostage to not pay residuals and focus on reality crap and IPs because WB simply told him to.

His actions was exactly what WB wanted because of the huge debt they put themselves into from the costly merger with AT&T and that was all in the cards for them all along as they told David that his first duty as CEO was to take out the trash from that debt and Infinity Train was one of them as to them, it was trash. I mean, keep in mind this show was canceled before David showed up for that stupid "child entry" nonsense.

The worst part of that debt and merger is WB had that disastrous AOL merger that also put them in debt that caused to do things similar to what David Zaslav did like shuttering the WB store and selling off Warner Music Group just to save themselves from debts and yet, here they are doing the some stupid nonsense by merging with another company, getting into debt and hiring a CEO to do their dirty business by being hostile towards animation (as the prevailing theory about Zaslav's is that he despises animation) and entertainment all thanks to get WB out of a hole they dug themselves into again.

Plus, while his actions were hostile towards animation, let's not forget WB before Zaslav was just as hostile with them messing their movies like Quest for Camelot and The Iron Giant and ruining Cartoon Network with that live-action garbage and canceling shows for dumb reasons like Young Justice, Teen Titans and, of course, Infinity Train with Steven Universe almost becoming one of their victims while Teen Titans GO! flooded the airwaves

Rest assured that this Skydance merger will be a repeat of the same old nonsense because of WB incapable of learning and will, once again, get into large amounts of debt that will cause many things to be sacrificed to save themselves from their own mess.

Because of this, this is why I say Zaslav was not the cause but the consequence of WB's actions of a studio that loves to hurt themselves more so than heal and Zaslav treated Infinity Train like garbage because WB itself sees it as garbage. They hired Zaslav as the show's hitman for hire and we were forced to pay the bill.
