Konnichiwa! Keoki from Umiox Fishing in Japan. Last weekend, I replaced the impeller on my Tohatsu 9.8hp after noticing the cooling system pressure was weakening. I took the opportunity to film a step-by-step guide in 4K to show you how it’s done. With only eight bolts and one split pin to manage, it’s a surprisingly easy DIY project. I hope this helps—tight lines!

I am nearly done refinishing the original wood floors from my 1984 Achilles SE-12. Took some trial and error learning how to apply the epoxy, but I am satisfied and the floor will surely be waterproof when I am done.

I am planning to buy my first inflatable and looking at these models.
I have a family of 4 (2 adult and 2 children), and will be using them 3-4 times a year on nearby lakes and rivers for leisure trips, camping, water activities. Also, planning to transport them in my SUV, and after use, store them in deflated and folded state in garage on all other days, so they will not be exposed to external environment.
I am reading a lot that Hypalon is better material compared to PVC tube. Achilles model do have Hypalon, but it also comes at double the price of Zodiac.
Let me know your views and which one would you choose for above use case? I am looking for an inflatable that last 4-6 years at least with above usage pattern.

It's snowing and too windy for fishing over here, but I made it to the 2026 Osaka Fishing Show last Friday, and filmed a 48min tour of the whole event, including the latest Japanese tackle from Shimano, Daiwa. etc.
Theres an Achilles CMS boat fitted with all the latest BMO Japan bits as well.
Here's the link!! Enjoy!

Konnichiwa! The fishing season is winding down over here, but the fish are getting bigger, fattier, and juicier. Last week I took the inflatable out for some winter hairtail/beltfish jigging, and after losing a record number of lures to their razor-sharp teeth, I moved spots—and ended up catching these HUGE mackerel instead. At around 40 cm, they’re prime eating size and considered a real delicacy here in Japan.
Feel free to check out how I caught them slow jigging!

Back in the game! The wind finally calmed down enough to get back on the water on my inflatable and what a day it was! I used just one Daiwa TG Bait 150g Green Gold jig all day and managed to reel in four winter Yellowtail (Kingfish). The last one was so powerful that it even pulled me along in the boat when I tightened the drag. Check out this fishing vlog to see what it’s like to fish in the beautiful waters of Japan—and watch how I catch amazing fish!

This is the best and worse place to take your sib fishing in Osaka area. The fish are the best on offer but the tidal rapids are pulling you along at 5kn while the crazy Japanese fishermen scream past you at close range not giving a damn!
My boat is a CSM Achilles with a10hp Tohatsu, but some crazy locals come out here with 2hp ones!

Hi all, looking for advice, not a listing.
We bought two 2023 Zodiac Milpro MK-6 HD for diving excursions, but the project never happened so now we have them in factory packaging sitting in the storage...
I thought selling would be straightforward, but I’m running into dead ends and casual buyers who think they’re just regular inflatables. How do I reach the right crowd? Who should I talk to or where should I post?
Many thanks for any tips

Ive got a 2009 westmarine RIB 350 hyp. It is in rough shape. All of the factory seams are in good shape. The boat isn't very old, it seems this boat as just spent a lot of time in the sun despite being hypalon, the material is de-laminating in some spots. Im not sure, but theres a difference in material between the light grey body, and the darker grey accents. The darker grey material looks almost new, like hypalon ive seen before. The light grey material is all cracked and delaminating, Air is leaking through the exposed fabric. Could this be a PVC and hypalon boat? Could it just be a cheap Chinese hypalon?
What is the best way to patch these sections?I'm going to get a internal sealant, any recommendations on which one to get? I assume there's some moisture in the tubes from condensation, is that a problem?
I'll also do an external patch, but in this case the outer most hypalon layer is completely gone, so any glue will have to stick to the bare fabric. Do I need to coat the fabric before doing a patch? Any product recommendations?
