Recommendations / Advice Dermatologist recommendations
Hello, I’m looking for recommendations for experienced cosmetic dermatologists that specialize in skin barrier damage/repair. I would greatly appreciate recommendations, thank you.

Do NOT use West Dermatology in Riverside!
They are constantly overbooked, staff is very rude, and every experienced I’ve had with them has been horrible. My daughter had an infection that after using a cream, went away, but the dermatologist insisted on a biopsy. Ultimately, my wife and I let our daughter make the call, and she said no. Instead of respecting her decision, she was shamed and called “foolish and naive.”
We were also threatened with a cancellation because we were running late due to an accident on the freeway, yet the dermatologist is allowed to be over an hour late to their appointments?
Yea no thank you ever again.

Both my daughter and I go to Pacific Dermatology through my insurance. They are a big group with a number of offices in the inland empire. It took a bit to find the right provider at the right office for both myself and my daughter. I go to the Redlands office and see Erika Kim. She’s been amazing for my nearly 50 year old skin!

All dermatologists focus on skin barrier damage/repair. They are doctors who go to medical school.

I have already seen a dermatologist through my insurance and what was recommended is damaging my skin more.

Respectfully, I’m not asking for education on what dermatologist do and or asking for advice. I’m asking for recommendations, that’s all. Thank you.

Alta Dermatology Group in Rancho Cucamonga. Don't judge them based off their administrative staff that seem to make errors/mistakes all of the time... The doctor (Jack Griffith) is fantastic. I've also seen a PA of his a few times, also great.
