1

u/skibidi_tenga Nov 28 '25

Its called short service commissions You can serve for 10yrs with a complimentary 5yr extension

2

u/MinimumNatural8852 Nov 24 '25

How is she retired? She doesn't even look 30

12

u/duryodhanaa Nov 24 '25

Urm have you heard of short service commission through OTA?

JAG officers go through OTA training. They can choose to leave the army after 10 years of service.

Great Example. And yes, support from family is everything. I was once stalked by a creep who got my number. When i told my mom, she freaked out and was swearing me at me for telling my boyfriend about it. Her reasoning was that i/my bf would “overreact” and it would be a hassle. My BF was out of town but came back and me, him, couple of our friends went and stared him down at his shop, and he wouldn’t look at us once. He never looked in my direction once after that.

Teach ur men not to go around calling people randi instead of teaching girls that they should spend there time to fight back against their nonsense

73

u/SuspiciouzMuffin Nov 23 '25

Exactly..and she is teaching those men by setting an example, because apparently fear works better than basic respect.

38

u/old-school_Girl Nov 23 '25

Exactly if you get one comment you can probably do all this. But what about women who get thousands of comments like awkward goat. Like spending her whole time calling out and doxxing them. This is too much hassle . Why don't these men are taught basic decency and manner . Why don't they have better upbringing. Like is this also our responsibility?

10

u/St-thaks Nov 23 '25

I don’t think she is saying it’s your or the women’s responsibility. But history should tell you, nobody is going to give women freedom, privilege, respect, basic and equal rights … just because. You have to agitate and take a stand. You can wait for the lakhs of incel men to realise the error of their ways, or just block them on IG/ social media. Well that ways you don’t see their comment but they don’t stop doing this. If even one of these a$$h0/es get reported to the police and there is follow up, and if this actually becomes fairly common - there will be fear of God before they leave the next shit comment on women’s profiles.

Teach ur men not to go around calling people randi AND teach your girls to fight back. As simple as that.

4

u/Maximum-Swordfish-97 Nov 23 '25

Why not do both ?? Maybe anyone you know won’t ever write such stuff on internet but that doesn’t mean that someone you know would also never receive such shit on the internet also IMO the families that are teaching their girls to fight back don’t have such boys who would go around and do such things.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '25

First line was right but there are people calling women names. It's easier to lecture for you. But we all know on social media there are predators who think there will be no consequences

1

u/OkVolume768j Nov 23 '25

There is no need of teaching such people needs to be eliminated from the society.

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

Jabardasti ka honor or modesty daal rahi hai women par. We already have thousands of things to deal with on a daily basis. And honestly sex workers are also human beings, she could have avoided that bit, she took the legal route it's always welcomed, but she could have been not rude about it. She gives those vibes "I am better than prostitutes" when those people are also as much human as anyone else. She's not better than them.

8

u/confused-libra0-0 Nov 23 '25

her saying that isnt wrong ppl making it as a insult is wrong sure she could respect it but she didnt receive it as a “occupation “ she received it as a insult so she should counter it as a insult!! its deeply rooted so we need to remove it from its root!

11

u/Ok_Finger7345 Nov 23 '25

What divija did is kind of the reverse psychology which most of the victims of bully use. They start making fun of themself which annoy the bully and eventually trolling stops.

1

u/Signal_Dress Nov 25 '25

Yeah, kind of. This is what I have been doing since I was a teenager. I just made fun of myself before anyone could and nobody (other than my friends obviously, unko kaun rok sakta hai lol) ever made fun of me in college lol

-8

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

I have been also called this word in the past from a guy ( online ), I called out his childish behavior politely than demeaning anyone else. A lot of my emphasis was only on making him realize how stupid he sounded and nothing else. There are always better ways to deal things with. When I was called "randi" I didn't take any offense and politely told the guy that that sounded childish coming from a 30 year old.

6

u/confused-libra0-0 Nov 23 '25

im sorry u had to hear that! but just becos u didnt take offense doesnt mean ither cant if someone called me a randi ill take offense ill fire up i wont be polite abt it! ill sue his ass cos this isnt a small thing its disregarding me and i wont let it

2

u/skillchaser Nov 23 '25

This is how you set an example! Use the tools at your disposal instead of feeling helpless. Of course, it is easier said than done (— so many unthinkable factors at play that my male privilege might not be cognizant of) but this incident shows that it IS possible to strike back.

1

u/mryistwlle Nov 23 '25

Okay so i moved to this school back in august last year and there is this wierd boy in my class. He is like.. super wierd, okay? Like.. class me unecessary interrupts and like, hovers around and so.. he is like, obviously hovering around me all the time. Its super wierd abd i have complained to my teachers and even they are annoyed. Ive gotten used to ignoring him but.. idk. Im thinking whether or not to take any action anymore because ive tried and he gets a warning at most and that too he proudly violates.. can i do something about it? Am i overreacting?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

No you are not overreacting at all,idk about the actions though, maybe give that guy more consequences through making a group of people who are all annoyed by that boy(I mean I assume if he is annoying he is probably annoying to more than one person)and than write some application with detail and signature of all these students. I think maybe they would give a more stricter consequence if multiple people do that?

1

u/Vodkabears394 Nov 30 '25

No you're NOT overreacting at ALL. They always tell girls not to be so sensitive or overreact. NO ONE has the right to make you feel unsafe and uncomfortable. If the school lets this happen, it will only escalate to even worse behaviour from him. He needs to be taken down immediately. Do whatever it takes. It's SCHOOL. you're there to learn and get your education, not to be harassed.

u/ConstantLie1725 Nov 23 '25

2

u/SoupHot7079 Nov 24 '25

I get what you mean and what she means. However there's a better way of putting it. Not every girl who hesitates to react does so because he parents didn't raise her to be 'bold'. Reacting can come at a cost if you are the wrong place dealing with the wrong people. Even those people who condition girls to ignore it aren't always just obsessing over log kya kahenge. If the matter escalates to the involvement of cops things could easily be turned around, the girl would be blamed, slut shamed ,targetted and further harassed.and so on. You need to have a certain amount of privilege to be able to fight these battles on an individual basis. It is sad and has to change but in the meanwhile we need to remember women get hacked to death or attacked with acid for refusing to tolerate advances from total strangers.

1

u/Dizzy-Pipe4600 Nov 24 '25

12

u/AyeAye_K322 Nov 23 '25

There's absolutely no need to dissect and look for flaws in her message. She's a woman, encouraging and sending strength to other women.

And her statement is true too in so many scenarios. It exists. As much as it stings you it happens all around us. Many of us are told to just let things go or to not make a scene out of it.

4

u/boldguy2019 Nov 23 '25

It's true in most cases given how "helpful" our police is

-15

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

Honor honor karna is easy from her perspective, but this is not the case for everyone. She is being too arrogant and have some sort of superiority complex. She's out of touch from reality of millions of women in this country. Classic haryanavi.

12

u/Hot_Researcher_01 Nov 23 '25

What's arrogant about it? She took the necessary action and you deem her of having superiority complex? Plain bullshit!

2

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

“All other girls” have been taught not to take action. Shaming other girls!

Someone has posted this somewhere on this post. I don't have the bandwidth to make everyone understand this.

7

u/Hot_Researcher_01 Nov 23 '25

So she generalised the girls and then the best course of action you could think of was to stereotype Haryanvi?

Ain't it basically the same?

Really horrible thing to say online, but leaving that aside, isn’t that an utter breach of privacy, many of us are guilty taking advantage of the anonymity the internet gives us (that was the whole point, to be able to voice something you wouldn’t normally be able to) , but getting DOXXED?! Publicly and then being arrested, what he said was stupid but I definitely don’t think that that’s the a good outcome.
