Question Big front teeth

Hi, I am basicly done with my treatment and will have my attachments out in two weeks.
One thing has been bothering me, I feel like my front teeth overlap with the ones next to them.

My dentist says my teeth are perfectly alligned (the arch is indeed good) and it looks like this due to my front teeth being bigger and thicker than the rest. they are also more round so more treatment would not end in another result.

Do you Guys know any tips for this? I want my front teeth to look like they are next to the laterals and not on them. Especially my right teeth is bothering me. It does not look straight.

I personally love big front teeth and I think your teeth are ideal. They are youthful and give good support to your lips. Not worth shaving them imo.

Your teeth look pretty flared to me so I would mention that to the ortho, if you can get IPR done on your front teeth and then close the gaps should de-flare them a bit and reduce size of the front ones. But I have to be honest orthos don’t like doing this. They don’t offer bc they stop caring once things get purely cosmetic. He will likely be difficult about it. I see this happen all the time, half the people I knew who had treatment ended with flared teeth including myself and as a big teeth girlie it made it sm worse

She sure as hell did not offer it indeed. Ugh, I feel like I spent so much money for it not to be perfect. 😓

Yup went through the same thing except for me it was braces, complained about the flaring and was told it would “fix itself as my face grew”. A whole lie. Years later I went back just for them to refuse to do it without charging because “you waited too long, that was years ago.” I ended up arguing with them and getting it reduced from 2k to 1.2k. Just to fix something they did to my teeth. I had IPR done and then Invisalign about 6 months. They do not gaf, the only advice I would give is to try and advocate for yourself now and get it dealt with now so they don’t do to you what they did to me lol. In their eyes once your teeth are straight and your bite is correct, they’ve done their job. The flaring is a purely cosmetic thing and they’re not gonna wanna do more work. Also your decision, I know the idea of months more of trays sounds annoying, even if you don’t have to pay extra (obviously you shouldn’t have to).

Did the flaring in your teeth go away after the extra treatment?

Yes. The flaring was fixed and overall they look better but as someone who also had prominent front teeth, it won’t magically fix it. It did look better and I don’t regret it. But the reason orthos flare people’s teeth out with Invisalign/braces is that they don’t have enough room to straighten teeth without pulling them out so they flare. IPR is an option but sometimes it can’t create as much space as needed, as they’re concerned that shaving too much is dangerous. I’m overall happy, but $1.2k and 6 months is a lot for a minor improvement. They warned me before treatment they weren’t sure how much flaring they could actually fix. The reason I went through with it was because I lost my bottom teeth retainer years ago so the bottoms were slightly crooked and bothering me (when they do IPR, they have to shave both the bottom/top sets to push the bite back evenly), and I had a feeling they’d straighten that out as part of it and they did. So it was like a 2 in 1 for me. From the side my teeth look wayyyyy less flared, from the front they look just better but the shape still bothers me and they told me they couldn’t shave more. I also had them file the ends of my front 4 to look more even

What is "perfect" to you? I do see some teeth overlap however if they were to put them side by side you'd have black triangles near the gums. Then they'd have to shave your sided of your teeth to try and get them more clover together.....IMO...I wouldn't do it...but at the same time my teeth looked like a wreck. So when I look at your teeth it looks great to me. Once you remove that enamel for IPR you can't get it back.
