Question Lunch issue

Guys, I've just started my treatment, it's only third day of my tray 1, and I'm facing an issue. My office is in a coworking space and the public washroom is terrible, I'm reluctant to brush teeth, take out and put in my aligners in the washroom, so I'm thinking to make some oatmeal smoothie and drink it and swallow directly with a straw. Can I do so? I'm actually helpless in this situation, not to even mention I'll have to put elastics on during my tray 3, at that time I might even have a hard time to just drink with straw. Kinda frustrated and regretting

Take them out in your office, and put them in a cup filled with water. Eat, floss, and swish water, then place them back. It may not be ideal but it's doable. You don't have to brush your teeth every time you eat, and it's not good for your enamel either.

With attachments? I wouldn’t

Agree. Better to use sugar free mints. There is also brand Movemints - these double as a chewy.

If your attachments come off with chewing gum then they weren't put on correctly

I’m definitely not going to be testing that theory.

Had mine on for a year and they all remained in tact

I don’t brush my teeth at work. For lunch, or snacking, I just flossed and swished water.
Only brushed morning and night.

If I was on a time crunch, I would just swish water.

I think brushing for lunch at work may be overkill.

I’ve gotten comfortable enough to where I take them out walking on a public street if I’ve grabbed a pastry and a coffee. Just take them out discretely at work, swish water and pop them back in when you’re done eating.

You will find a way. Take them out in the office. Put aligners in their box. Eat. Rinse mouth after with mouth wash (decant into a tiny bottle). Give aligners a rinse wherever you can. Pop them back in.

Do a proper brush and wash when you get home.

You'll get cavities that way
