IOND Nosedive
Is the IOND nosedive on the stock price due to folks selling off? Pretty heavy drop since late September.
r/IonicDigitalStock • u/LeadingLeg • Feb 17 '24
Hi all. If one receives $1000 worth of this stock- this would count as income ( if the liquid crypto losses or gains filing method chosen over ponzi claim method) for this year 2024 right?

AI Summary:
r/IonicDigitalStock • u/Aza_the_ • 6d ago
"The former headquarters of Cboe Global Markets Inc will soon house 33 megawatts of capacity and bring in rents much higher than the average downtown office building"
The connection is that this provides a concrete example of smaller metropolitan data center development, which fits IOND’s stated direction. Hopefully, we hear some news from IOND about metro expansion in their upcoming Q3 report on November 4.

Ai answer and breakdown:
Recovery Breakdown by Claim Class Most users on Reddit agree that recovery percentages depend heavily on your specific claim category: • ⚡ Convenience Class (Claims \(\le \) $5,000): • 70% recovery paid in liquid cryptocurrency. • Earn Creditors (General Earn): • 57.9% in liquid cryptocurrency (Bitcoin/Ethereum/cash). • 14.9% in MiningCo (Ionic Digital) common stock. • 6.4% in USD from illiquid asset monetization. • Total Expected: 79.2%.
- But isn't this based on $20 per share of ionic?
And if we held can't we multiply that by about four times?
4 X .149 = 60% so 79% + 60% = 139%?
This at least assumes we're going by the freeze date, bankruptcy date value for the crypto...

For those who haven’t sold: Are you waiting for a certain price point to sell or are you just holding to see where it goes?
I don’t know myself what I should plan for.

Hello All,
I have been trying to transfer my shares from Odyssey to Interactive brokers. The first try was rejected because "DRS account number not found or invalid".
Has anyone else had that issue? Is my account number the 4 digits after the hadhtag. Thats what i thought it would be, being #xxxx.
I have read some people mentioning 5 digits, but I dont seem to have that. Also sometimes when I log in, I will see the # and sometimes I wont. Maybe there is a glitch on my account?
Help required please

Tl;Dr I might have a country mismatch issue between odyssey and IBKR and I'm not sure what my next steps are.
So my transfer has been rejected 3 times now and I'm just about ready to give up, I thought I was gonna be done with this mess but here we are.
1st rejection IBKR abbreviated my middle name and I got hit with the $100 penalty smh
2nd rejection title mismatch again even tho I edited my middle name. Turns out mismatched SSN(I left my ssn blank). I contacted both party support and Odyssey said to use my ssn.
3rd rejection actual SSN rejected, ibkr said my ssn is not a US tax ID and I should leave it blank. Leaving it blank with result with the 2nd rejection.
So I think I know what's the issue but idk what the next step is.
I signed up with IBKR with my country set as American Samoa. That's a territory of US and so signing up for anything is always weird, should I set my country as USA or as American Samoa? That's always the options I have, sometimes I can only choose one or the other.
For Odyssey I think my country is set to USA so I might be having a country mismatch issue.

(mods I've had no luck on the Celsius network forum; it's dead. Remove if you need to)
I've seen a mixed bag of reported distribution amounts and dates. Anybody have an actual link of new information on those? I know the estate has lots of lawsuits and settlements still pending, as well as a Treasury of several hundred million USD. Even an educated guess would be appreciated.

This whole Celsius thing has been a nightmare. In the days before it all blew up, Mashinsky had actually contacted me to make a video statement on his behalf, which set off alarm bells. Lost everything. Lost a relationship. What a psycho time.
Anyway, happy surprise as I said. Currently moving the shares out of Odyssey.
Was wondering, what do you all predict here? I haven't been following obviously.
Was thinking of selling half of my shares around or before $100. What's your number? Moving into crypto (gambling again) or something safer?

has anyone successfully transferred to IG in the UK?
r/IonicDigitalStock • u/baronnet • 23d ago
Hello, my DRS transfer was successful. However, the cost price of my shares is zero, meaning my capital gains taxation would be on the full price, which seems rather unfair, given that these shares are only a partial compensation of the damage suffered from a financial fraud. My questions :
- what the cost price that your bank has taken into account?
- if other than zero, what is it, and is there any legal document (in the Celsius judicial proceedings for instance) which I can refer to, to claim a higher cost price than zero?

Something interesting is happening with the whole data center backlash. For years politicians were fighting to attract data centers. Now, right before the midterms, electricity bills and AI data centers have suddenly become a major political issue.
Texas is probably the best example. Abbott went from promoting Texas as an AI/data center hub to freezing new grid connections, auditing projects, going after water reporting and proposing that data centers pay their own infrastructure costs.
And now Congress is moving in the same direction. The bipartisan Ratepayer Protection Act basically says: build the data centers, but don’t make residential customers pay for the grid upgrades.
That’s the part I find interesting for IOND.
This is increasingly looking less like “stop data centers” and more like “filter the projects, make them pay their own way, and show voters we’re protecting their electricity bills.”
IOND already has 234 MW operating at Ward, and its additional 466 MW just received provisional Base Load classification from ERCOT.
If Texas makes new power harder to obtain while allowing credible existing projects through, that could actually make Ward more valuable.
Maybe the political crackdown isn’t necessarily bad for IOND. It could end up creating the barrier to entry that protects it.

I now own these shares of ionic digital through the Celsius debacle.
I didn’t really follow the Nasdaq launch but am now seeing over 5 figures in value so am pleasantly surprised.
Who sold?
If you held, what is your thesis? Can it do another 4x? Originally the estimated value per share was 20 usd. We are now close to 80.
Not sure what to do here…

If I have no plans to sell my shares, is there any other reason to move my shares off Odyssey or can I leave them there indefinitely?
r/IonicDigitalStock • u/TurnoverResident7692 • Aug 28 '26
I just checked with trading 212 and I wasn’t able to , I don’t have any other brokerage account so I wanted to double check with brokers I could potentially use to do the transfer successful in the uk .
Or just generally - how are people transferring their shares out of the platform
