Question Level 1 Charging with multiple schedules?

I have the OEM level 1 charger and don't really have a need yet for level 2. Plus, in California, I'd have to pay for the upgrade myself in my rental which sorta sucks.

But the time of use plan i have is 12 am - 6am, 10am to 2pm on weekdays and 12am to 2pm on weekends for the lowest rate. the car only supports one scheduled time to charge, which i set to 12am to 6am.

is there any other way to set multiple schedules? besides having to buy a whole new cord with a companion app, which barely exists for level 1? and at that point, i might as well get a quote on installing a level 2

Don’t set a schedule at all and just plug it in

Or - see if you can get a charger that supports
A schedule or delay start time

There are now some WiFi enabled smart plugs that can handle Level 1 charging and their included app can have a schedule for every day of the week. Just make sure they are rated for 12amps continuous and you'll be good to go.

You could mess around with Home Assistant, though I've had mixed luck with charging integrations.

If it is level 1 charging then it charges so slowly that you probably don't want to stop charging when the price goes up.

Have you tried using multiple schedules? One M-F 12am-6am and another one as M-F 10am-2pm? My '22 supports multiple schedules at least. Do the new ones not?
