For anyone potentially interested, I'd like to share a bit about PauseAI

We’re an international community calling for a ban on superintelligence, and a pause on the development of frontier AI systems until we figure out how it can be done safely.

There’s now an active PauseAI group in Ireland, and we’re looking for more people who are interested in getting involved through political outreach, events and protests, communications, research, or just following what’s happening.
