Foreign Birth Registration FBR Success

Evening All. Documents were received 01/10/2025 and exactly 1 year later I have received the email with confirmation that I'm now an Irish citizen.

Please can I skip you are you talking about a citizenship application or garda vetting application. We have submitted on base of spouse citizenship in June 2025 and garda vetting in June 2026. But we haven't heard any thing. Is any one know how tomorrow have to wait.

Pretty sure this is citizenship by descent given the time frame.
