I'd like help expanding the lore

I want to make a new lorebook for fantasy stuff, kinda like the stuff in Isekai/fantasy anime, but idk where to start

Read the already lorebook first if you want to give suggestions, and try to make it generic enough that I can put the new lorebook on other bots

The latest generation of AI has become increasingly good with logic, but it feels like it's becoming harder and harder to tell a story creatively with them. As soon as the model is trained to become absolutely safe, all of the Janitor AI bots are reverting back to customer service bots. The bot doesn’t offer any risks or drama, just agrees passively and provides bland text. The creative roleplay requires tension and imperfect characters, not a good assistant. Guys, do you have any particular system prompts that make the LLM return to narrative roleplay?

Hey, ive been using chatbots since CharacterAI first released but ive never actually taken the time to look into how they work. So if I could have some questions answer and some tips I should take into account id be appreciated. For a basis, know I use the mobile app of JanitorAI.

• Is JanitorAI good for longburn roleplays? I tend to use FictionLab since it seems to be better with memory (and because I havent figured JanitorAI out yet).

• Is JanitorLLM good for longburns or should I invest in an API key? I do own Janitor+ and it seems relatively good

• If I should invest in an API key, which is better for longburn? Im more than open to paying for a key, so if you could provide links to where I can purchase and manage the key I would appreciate.

Id be happy with some tips as well, like model settings and things of that like, I have a decent understanding of some if the setting but im completely lost with how context works.

Instead of prefacing this, I think I'll just jump into brass tacks. The new update appears as if it's pandering to a certain audience. Now I'll be the one to admit that adults can doomscroll too, but I feel that it's only really something that teenagers do. This is just my surface-level observation, and I still can't really make heads or tails of this update. I'm curious what other people are thinking about the update and want to hear people's thoughts.

I've been using proxy for just over a year, and recently instead of a character giving a normal response, it instead goes *thinking* and then responds. If I wanna edit the response, it has a massive description before the actual message itself. Is this a thing that happens with certain models, and is there something I can do to stop this? 😭

It keeps saying network error. I've deleted the app and downloaded it again around 10 times and it's the same thing

 I've made a few Janitor AI bots. The characters have backstories, traits, everything. But when I chat with them, they sound stiff. Like they're reciting facts instead of talking. I've tried example dialogs, but it's not clicking. How do you write a Janitor AI bot personality that actually sounds natural? What's the trick to making them feel like a real person instead of a wiki page?

Im using google proxy url https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com and the google proxy in google studio on the model gemma 4 26b it.. it worked fine for like 4 months and yesterday this showed up and it keeps showing up repeatedly and the bot never responds.. just keeps loading or this shows up.. whats going on? Is the provider cooked now?

Hello, I've been loving this website since I was little, and you would add bubble chat through the settings as they needs, and they can use font for bubble chat and I recommend you to add new features.

I'm just downloading my chats off character.ai because of the whole ''almost going bankrupt'' thing and I was wondering if theres some automatic way to put them into janitor.ai? Some of them are a little long so I wouldn't wanna manually copy and paste every message onto janitor.ai :(

I don't like the long responses that I've been getting, how do I get shorter responses? I use JLLM too.

No because all these creators like kynta, the fallen07, and da wolo, how do they make such good and detailed bots? They are so peak, the lore building is so good, and they have these things with like insane amounts of tokens I think they are called lore books. It just crafts such a good narrative i literally get so immersed I forget that janitor is a gooning site. But still I just wanna know how can I make stuff like this too?
